So who thinks we should keep Wober, personally I would, he's international player and can be played in a few positions. Not 1st choice but make a good bench man for me, although I have to say I don't know what his weekly pay is, if it's a lot get shut.

Oldbri, IMHO, All those who didn't want to play for Leeds when we got Relegated should have been sold and never played for our Club again!

Just my take on it! I respect your opinion though.

Bless berm.
It’s about ability not kissy cuddles.

He def prem standard. Keep.

I don't disagree BT and Harrison wouldn't get through the gate, but Wober and BA at least knuckeled down (much as I'm not a fan of BA) But I fully understand your reasoning my only wonder is did BA and Wober ask to be loaned or did we do it for financial reasons, not sure which it was.

Bless me? Why thank you aus?

Personally I think keep he can do a job and better than Bryam. If we get a good offer then perfect but if not I’d be happy to keep.

I agree Oldbri, he's a decent footballer. My only reservation is his injury record, which is pretty shocking - must be really good mates with Bamford by now as they will have seen plenty of each other in the treatment room over the past year!

I'm on the fence, if he can prove his fitness and stay fit, then keep for another year but if there are any doubts then sell for whatever we can get.

08 Jun 2025 17:12:18
Keep. We need not just depth to the squad, but quality in depth. He's quite capable if he stays fit.

08 Jun 2025 18:27:09
Sounds like he's been told to leave if so no big loss for me.

08 Jun 2025 19:10:50
As Berm says keep unless a good offer comes in but as Cleggy says his injury record is appalling. It’s a tough one as he’s definitely up to the job.

A self declared 'fighter' who runs at the first chance, is not the kind of person I'd want in the trenches with me.
We will be in a fight next season so I only want people who aren100% committed so I'd sell for sure.

Wober was told if he played in the championship he wouldn’t be in the international team by there manager at the time and he desperately didn’t want to lose the chance at the euros.

09 Jun 2025 07:51:14
Well, he's been told we are going to sell him anyway, so hey ho, off ya go. Have a feeling we have better lined up given the reports doing the rounds, and probably on lower wages too, as back ups.

09 Jun 2025 12:39:48
I say keep him. I'll give some players the benefit of the doubt that they moved after relegation out of embarrassment and a feeling of failure. I get that feeling from Arranson, and for all of the undeserved flack he got, he really did play his heart out for us.
Wober did the same, on the few games he got, he was like a man possessed and played great. It's a shame he didn't get more game time.

I think his skills fit in that twilight area between top-end championship and lower-end Prem. He's a good player and an asset, especially in an area that we're losing a player in.

100% mot.
