Seeing kal and Luke side stage on the riot gig. Felt a bit sorry for kal. Ok he earns rubbish loads of money and is having a good time.
He rightfully so chased the dollar and opportunity but only to realise nothing is like playing for his Leeds.
If he can regain fitness and motivation. Still think a cheeky 5mill bid worth it. Otherwise they pay his wages for eternity. It's business right. A fit and able kal better on our bench than theirs.

Totally agree on all that Aus. If the finances can make it an impossible to refuse piece of business, get it done. He's a cracking lad too.

Bring Phillips back. He wants to come back to Leeds and is willing to take a pay cut.
We want players and he's proven premier league and international quality.
We want him, he wants to come. What's the problem?

02 Jun 2025 11:38:48
Phillips is injured until at least late August / September. He is wearing a protective boot currently as his Achilles Tendon has gone.

Bit negative Alf. Worth 5 for his passion.
You aiming for big new financial yr Pay rise?

02 Jun 2025 13:52:47
It's a big injury for sure Alf, but it is one that can be recovered from without ongoing issues.

02 Jun 2025 15:00:19
yeah but the latest in a long string of injuries just makes him unreliable imo. we don't need to be tying up wages on injured players even if its for a low transfer fee.

Cant see me getting a pay rise any time soon Aus!

He probably picks up all the injuries because he simply isn't fit enough, and his recent disciplinary record suggests he is totally frustrated by it all. He only seems to want to play for Leeds.

Agree with you Aus, worth a cheeky 5 mil bid.

Fit and firing again, he would be worth it if only as a sub.

Loan to buy, on the proviso he is fit and able to play a certain amount of games. I would love him back, a true Leeds man and nanny Val would look down and be so proud he has returned home.

Everyone was questioning why Leeds were wasting money on sick and always injured Solomon this time last season?

If the rumours are right and City are prepared to let him go for “peanuts” (and save 3 years of crazy salary) , then I think it would be a good bit of business.

He is a decent player, probably not going to recapture his peak form if yesteryear, but could be still useful.

You can’t blame a players for trying to make it at the hiestes level, you can’t blame them for taking best wage possible

My problem is this, he is not good enough to make our team. If he was from Manchester and a **** season ticket holder no one would mention him so why mention him because he is from leeds?

The post code of a player doesn’t make them better at football.

Reading elsewhere, because he is an EPL player, we would be only allowed to loan 2 such players, so I doubt the club would risk a loan slot on an injured player (though he apparently is due to “available” from early August. )

Should only be considered if the fee is sub £10m, which allegedly is what City want. I think he would likely go somewhere offering higher pay than Leeds would probably offer…. unless he thinks he’s earned enough already…yea right!

10 million for Phillips is 15 million too much, rather buy my. Sofa or Harry maguire.
