Everton Palace Hammers Betis and BARCELONA are all interested in Firpo?!
Paper talk most likely but the question is should Leeds try and renew his contract?
The lad has been exceptional last two seasons but was pony in EPL last time out defending.
Has he improved? Is he worth a new contract even as a utility player?
Seeing we have so many holes to fill and if the contract is fair I'd seriously think about keeping him on.
Personally he was probably my favourite player this season but I'm still unsure.

Pretty sure it will be betis. Don’t think he will stay in England. If he was going to he would resign for us. A Warmer climate easier league beckons. Good luck to the guy. Been brilliant as you say.

Not a chance any of those EPL clubs or Barcelona are interested in Firpo ( pure clickbait )
Betis possibly BUT Firpos wage demands are probably a problem for them hence no deal announced
Bottom line Firpo for past 4 seasons at Leeds including 2 in lower level Champo remains a defensive liability first and foremost playing at LB .
we need far better; let him see out remaining weeks of contract and then adios Junior .

We did offer him a new contract.

As usual Baz, your assessment is totally out of kilter with the real world! He's had two solid seasons in the champo, and delivered both defensively and going forwardb exactly what Farke requires from his full backs. He's been a real asset this season particularly, and by and large, the concensus is that he was robbed of his place in the team of the season. I wish him all the best, and am grateful for his vital contribution to this year's success.

The Spanish press are pretty sure he is returning to Betis, but that was fuelled again by Ampadu on the bus! I think the role in the championship has suited him and he has increasingly been given license to roam with great success. But defence isn’t his strongest suit and the premiership will require a change of approach and or player! I’m sure we’ll be looking for a different left back!

Absolutely agree with Brighty. Firpo has been outstanding for the past 2 season, and whatever he decides for his next adventure I wish him well.
There can't be a coincidence that under previous managers he has performed poorer than he has under Farke's tenure.
I see similarities to the improvements that both Summerville and Rutter produced in Farke's first season, against their performances pre-Farke.
(I am not saying he improves all players, some are good anyway, but there have been significant improvements in a few players under hus stewardship)

Need better than firpo granted good season, but not good enough defensively for me.

In the PL Firpo struggled all round, the pace of it, defending and he had a poor injury record. But, fair play to him, he has done really well over the last two seasons, especially this one. I agree with offering him a contract, but it has to be a sensible one for the Club. If he goes, all the best to him. Makes you wonder if he missed the Plymouth game with a move in the offing.

100% agree Brighty. Completely disagree with Baz.

Most do most of the time mid.

MG you want Firpo at LB then in EPL? .

I agreed with Brighty’s post and disagreed with yours Baz.
Go back and read them again.

Didn’t his partner post somewhere on promotion, “see you next season…we’re in the Premier League…. ”.
