Speaking as a "plastic" pessimist who apparently hasn't really supported the club for the last 60 odd years I think what Farke has achieved given the boot to the nuts he was given with the selling of what some thought as our top talent is amazing. He may look like he's chewing a wasp but the man has shown he knows what he is doing. Like him or not he is a class act and should be given a shot at the prem.

Totally agree 1970.
At the very least he has a good understanding of the players he has managed this season and will be able to assess their ability to cope with the PL, to which he has experience.
At this stage I would really not want a chequebook manager, or some tier 2 foreign manager in charge of consolidating the first year back. This is a marathon not a sprint.
I think the manager situation is actually a great smokescreen to the real issue. FUNDS.
We had an amazing manager in Bielsa, but without the proper funding we didn't kick on.

Agree what he has done is nothing short of amazing.
Yes he hasn’t done it in the prem but he has never had a prem team to manage. When Norwich went up they spent 8 million first time and sold there only good player second time.
If leeds spend 8 million this summer what manager could keep us up?
I would be fully behind a manager like mourinho he has prem experience and class in abundance however I have always been a huge fan of farke and needs to be trusted and backed.

Farkey got us up 2nd time of asking . huge relief and job done just
. he had arguably best squad each season aside perhaps Leicester
Solid coach but made crucial stubborn mistakes though in the 2 seasons and this season Blades implosion at end was the difference maker
Jury still out on Farkey for next season imo.

Ace please don’t start me on Belisa I was having a good day! You can’t put farke and Belisa in the same catagory.
Belisa spent more in the championship at leeds than farke spent at Norwich in the prem!
Anyway moving on… we have a proper manager now I’m farke we trust and back him we will be a established prem team for a long time.

Bermo mate, I agree that if DF is the manager he should be given a chance with the proper recruitment and funds. My question to everyone is if Liverpool crazily say they no longer want Arnot Slot and he called the 49ers wanting to be our manager, would we want him or do we still stick with DF? Again just hypothetical a question.

I can see what you’re saying mate and agree if moyriniho was interested he would be a great coach for us so can see you’re point but I think we have to stick with farke he deserves it.

Berm, at a time when we should be celebrating could you possibly go a week without slagging of Marcelo Bielsa?
Where you get your figures from gawd only knows, Bielsa actually spent a little less than Farke in their respective first championship seasons. £21.2 million vs £27 million. Only the retrospective loan to transfer debacle skews the figures massively, hardly MB’s fault and was unable to call upon JKA.
We could probably write a dozen posts of criticisms of both Bielsa and Farke, but why would any Leeds United supporter want to, why you cannot celebrate the magnificence of both manager’s achievements in very different circumstances, is simply beyond my simple comprehension.
If it’s you still require validation that you are the one, the only Guru, take it please, but then give it a rest and allow us to enjoy such a special time, consistently denigrating a humble man, coach who brought us back from the wilderness, after which everything else was possible, for which he will always be revered amongst the wider Leeds United fan base, other than you it would seem.
