Well that was one difficult game to come through with the pressure on from the days earlier results. All credit to the team for grinding that one out against a tough opponent. Enjoy the weekend chaps and let's see what Monday brings.

Very well said LUFCfeath ; the lads did well overall under a fair bit of pressure.

Well done Farke for keeping his players focused and calm under pressure. A coach who some wanted sacked only a few weeks ago.

Not over the line yet, think we got time for one more round of farke out?

Seems Jesus won’t be the only thing rising this Easter as leeds are also going up.

I'm still in for Farke out if we get promoted, because he could command such a wage by being the guy to get champo teams promoted. His record would be undeniable.

Why risk it in the crappy premier league when he could be a freakin' millionaire working in the champo?

He deserves his chance. Last night was a very professionally focused performance. That's down to the gaffer. Well done Daniel; almost there YET AGAIN! ??????.

In my opinion it’s not very wise to get rid of Farke when he has the momentum with his players.
He will get the opportunity this time to add some quality to the squad if we get there which he didn’t have with Norwich.

I’d rather stick with Farke than bring a manager who’s had probably no experience in the Premiership before.
Before anyone mentions Jose, 100% no, everything would be about him and not the players or the football club.

No to Dyche as well.
I find it very sad that many Leeds fans can not see a future with Farke, it’s a very blinkered and one dimensional view in my opinion.

19 Apr 2025 12:13:54
OP I think it’s very blinkered to not even consider a new manager.
Not that it would happen but I guarantee if Klopp took over in the summer you would soon forget about DF and move on.
I’ve said it for months that if we get promoted we will need quite a few better players so why not a better coach.

Farkes a good man manager but tactically not great. We don’t want to do what Burnley did last season and Southampton this and that is play total football out from the back and end up getting mullered most weeks.
I like Farke but I’m not sure he’s up to the EPL but if he proves me wrong then I’d be absolutely delighted for him and Leeds.

Farkey so stubborn all. season with Le Mes in goal costing us so many points. It almost cost us again.

Intervention from above 4 games ago, thankfully.

He is not in anyway proven in EPL either.

Why on earth is anyone saying farke out next year? The post was a joke and some leeds fans took the bait!

Imagine a Belisa out post at this stage during the season we got promoted… they’d of been lynched and Belisa didn’t do as well as farke has

In farke we trust no more talk of him getting sacked or wanting him out… it makes you all look a bit silly in my honest opinion.

Interesting pov Corky, and yes, if Klopp or that calibre came, the complaints might die down quickly. He's not tho, because he ain't knocking back Madrid straight away, and if he does, it's not because he prefers west Yorkshire!

Thing is, we are going to have the funds for about net 4 decent players, so a new manager, e. g. Klopp example above is going to have zero interest in managing a team already considered by many here, relegation fodder.

Personally, having watched a lot of EPL football, I think this current team is capable of being above 4 or 5 teams without any changes. Burnley, and whoever is promoted will likely be two if them, we need to be above one more to survive; doing it for one season would release a lot more funds to strengthen.

I think this team would be in a scrap with Wolves, West Ham, Palace etc. I suspect Man U and Tottenham will not be as bad again, but I think our current team could beat them now.

Of course we have to get there first, but I am quite optimistic that this could be a much longer stay. I can’t see the 49’s and Red Bull passing up this opportunity, even if their hands are somewhat tied for the next 12 months.

{Ed025's Note - i love your optimism Ani but i think you might find it a bit harder than you think mate, of late the 3 that have come up have gone right down again and thats not a coincidence, the Championship is very tough but the Prem is even tougher and the standard a bit higher, dont get me wrong i hope you do well and break the trend but the teams you mention there are higher quality at the moment, if you invest that could change of course and i really wish you well..

It would be a scrap that’s for sure, no doubt Ed. I think the reality is that everyone is focused on the last two seasons, including our own relegation. We should never have been relegated; no one could have foreseen our last 10 matches and how they panned out. West Ham, Brentford, Newcastle, Forest (even Villa) all managed it, most of whom got there via the play-offs, so not even the strongest championship sides to be promoted.

This season, the promoted sides tried to play Championship football in the EPL, ridiculously trying to play out from the back stubbornly even without the calibre of player; by the time they worked it out, it was already to late. I expected Ipswich to have adapted the best (plenty around here predicted them to survive)

Like I say, hopefully if we get there, we need to better that one more team over and above the two we up with. I think that’s a real possibility.

{Ed025's Note - i really hope so Ani. Leeds are a massive club mate and deserve to be playing amongst the elite, but it will take investment and a lot of hard work and even then there is no guarantee...but heres hoping my friend..
