Mornin peeps from a soggy south coast, well, going to put this on the table, got me tin hat ready. We absolutely keep DF when we are promoted. His stats alone show he is one of our most successful managers, IN the time he has been with us. To do in 2 seasons what he has done with adversity is about as good as it gets, he deserves every opportunity to manage us in the prem and hopefully when he gets us there he will get the credit he deserves. You cannot compare his track record with Norwich, completely different set of circumstances and its like having an amazing holiday while worrying about what the next one will be like. Enjoy siblings, celebrate because the future is bright, the future is White. UTWDTP.

' Adversity'? .

Real adversity is what most other Champo sides have to deal with financially etc

Farkey has had ( one of) best team in Champo both seaaons.

15 Apr 2025 10:08:11
Things can turn extremely quickly in the championship Oxford and Stoke probably both need a win to confirm championship football, Bristol City are third in the form table and Plymouth (hopefully not) may need to beat us to stay up.

Talk of Farke and EPL is a little premature, especially given previous Leedsy results in past seasons.

One game at a time, take each game as it comes, keep positive but humble, certainly until we have the requisite points.

Anyone else nervous, nope, just me then.

15 Apr 2025 10:24:13
For what its worth Vid, I agree with you.

15 Apr 2025 10:41:28
Sentiment blinding again imo
He's shown 2wice in EPL he's not up to it

1 way or other he will be gone by Xmas , so why jeopardize a lot of points to delay the inevitable . Farke not good enough for Prem.

15 Apr 2025 11:19:46
What would worry me is giving Farke say 150 mill to spend on players he wants and he’s gone by Xmas.
We all know we need better players so why not get a better manager? There’s no room for sentimentality in football.

15 Apr 2025 12:04:42
100% spot on posts Chris and Corky!

Very good to see you back posting Corky pal.

15 Apr 2025 12:09:23
Let's be officially promoted before we start talking Premier League. There is still a job to do.

15 Apr 2025 12:18:14
Everyone keen to get rid of Farke once he’s done all the hard work, the mind boggles.
I know, let’s get Ruud van Pistolboy, what top manager is going to come to Leeds with Championship players?
I think the expectations of some are a little bit on the moon.,
Farke keeps his job if we make promotion, he merits the job without any doubt in my mind.

Im staggered by the way some are so quick to cancel out players or coaches, winning is obviously not enough for some fans these days.

15 Apr 2025 12:36:53
It is a bit premature to talk about DF being unfit to be a Premier League manager but whoever we have it's a bit of a lottery to stay up. We've had one chance to establish ourselves but messed up the second season.
McMk at Ipswich was lauded for his recruitment and man management but that hasn't worked out. Van N had a good reputation and he's done nothing and Southampton changed and brought in an Italian who wasn't any better.
You need a good defence and a great striker who will get you enough goals to pick up sufficient points. Both need bolstering at GK, FB and CB.

15 Apr 2025 13:04:43
To put it in context, Leicester spent £40m with the best team last season, Southampton 80 and Ipswich 150. Even 150 is unlikely to be sufficient to keep them up.

15 Apr 2025 14:00:22
Don't be staggered OP, he is a good champo manager and he's been paid what we will never earn thus far, so don't feel sorry for Daniel because when the inevitable happens he won't be waiting long to manage again .

My own expectations are that we learn from previous mistakes, it's not like Farke hasn't been there before, he has and has failed badly

You pull Ruud out as an example of what will happen .

Well if Tony Bloom or Mr Parish et al stuck to your logic they certainly wouldn't be having the calibre of manager they have now

Nuno a classic example of not showing Sentiment and acting for the club rather than an individual.

Farke WILL BE our manager if we go up I agree, but I will bet my mortgage Farke WONT LAST the season, and we will be trying to play scramble points then with some hope in the dark Season saver.

15 Apr 2025 14:56:34
If I was Farke, I would turn down the manager job for Leeds for the prem, even if he has a point to prove it's a very, very difficult league to succeed in.

If he stays in the champo as the manager that gets teams promoted, after three successful promotion (nearly four last season) he would be worth a packet.

15 Apr 2025 14:44:35
The Nuno example of acting for the club not the invididual brilliant Chris

Tbe antithesis of Farkey.

15 Apr 2025 17:36:29
Just when I thought I was out you guys pulled me back in.
Thanks for your comment Baz.

15 Apr 2025 17:51:34
Really Baz? So you don't consider losing 15 players before your first season and having to totally rebuild the squad as "real adversity". You don't consider then losing your 3 best players and having to rebuild again as "real adversity"? Other sides have to deal with financial restraints which is "real adversity" eh, well why do you think we lost all those players then sold 3 last summer, yeah, you got it, "real adversity".

A fact which was never lost on you when you complained about the lack of investment, but conveniently you forget that when bending a story to suit your opinion. Honestly Baz, it's getting very tiresome.

15 Apr 2025 18:05:58
You are more than welcome Corky you are a very valued poster and a good chap.

15 Apr 2025 18:51:36
Daveyvid . we have bg far the highest wages in Champo this season . thr best team

Other Champo teams can only dream of Rutter, Summeeville and co last season

James, Piroe, Gnonto, Rama, Tanaka, Solomon etc etc this season.

15 Apr 2025 18:55:19
Last season when we were highlighting these things Vid it was ah lads step out of the darkness and into all shade of light, and positivity is way forward

Now to reaffirm your post to Baz, you highlight these things in a now agreed negative light to demonstrate how bad it was,

15 Apr 2025 19:18:13
Daveyvid

clubs in EPL and other top leagues are NOT interested in employing Farkey as their manager. he is a decent to good Champo manager that's his level

It would be interesting to see how well he could actually do in say the Oxford or Stoke job # adversity.

15 Apr 2025 23:13:17
Remind me what was so great about Summerville at the end of last season when he faded out when we really needed him.

16 Apr 2025 07:51:59
The cheat codes last season were bottlers tho Baz?

16 Apr 2025 07:58:24
Chris, this ain't a dig, so don't get defensive, but why does it always boil down to what those in football earn vs what most of us never will? It's irrelevant. That's life: it is what it is.

16 Apr 2025 08:21:13
Not taken as a dig Brighty pal
My point is always a counter point to the almost constant narrative you hear about footballers

Oh he crossed the ball unbelievably
Oh his pass was sublime
Oh an incredible goal
Oh how did he do that
World class manager, blah blah blah

The list of superlatives is endless
Their not charity cases or people who demand sympathy

My point is, for all the above, why else are they being paid multiple of millions each season?

It's like the money is irrelevant and you don't speak about it, just keep blowing smoke up their a"*e

So let's not lose sight of that
Don't get me wrong, if I am offered it also
I am biting someone's hand off for it.

16 Apr 2025 08:24:58
Hit reply too soon

When your occupation / Career awards you a multi million pound lifestyle

Surely in return there's a base level requirement of actually being good at said occupation ???

There now clear as mud ?.

16 Apr 2025 17:32:03
Now I totally understand what you're meaning bud. Totally clear, and more understandable than mud too. Cheers. ????.
