Sadly predictable result. On to the next. Another narrow pitch where we could struggle but Boro's style may even things up a bit.

7 goals last season at Boro. rumour has it Leeds scored 4.

Why was the result predictable? We have the depth, strength and talent to make sure this wasn't predictable.
We knew they were going to press on a narrow pitch, so why play the wings with players that are knackered?
If we knew it was predictable, why not change the squad and formation? Why not adjust the style of play? Why not play ramazani and schmidt? Why not gruev and tanaka in midfield and amperdu in defense to boost the confidence and help with the nerves of Darlow?
I don't accept this nonchalant idea that "it was predictable", nothing we can do, move on. That's not a winning mentality.

MoTagain2, it's called "SCARED FOOTBALL" which will never get you promoted. This same team with MB would have put 4 goals in Luton! FACT!

I'm not questioning Farkes ability, he's proved he can do it. I just don't know why he doesn't use the ability he has.
Boggling.

The pitch, the location and the time did not favour us - that's all. I'm more than happy with a point as I wouldn't have been surprised at a 1-0 defeat today. I see it as a great point gained today personally. Not defeatist at all.

Indeed Alf. A good, hard earned point that could yet be valuable.
05 Apr 2025 17:43:27
That's all true Alf and a point is better than nothing, obviously, but you've left out that Luton are second from the bottom.
Now, our chances at Boro aren't great and I would have taken a point.

You've left out Luton are fighting tooth and nail for survival and every point for them counts. Motivates a team more than in mid season when relegation isn't looming. Luton's recent form has been much better than their position and, of course, they had their cup final today. League positions mean little to nothing at this stage of the season as you should know.
05 Apr 2025 21:23:55
And we're not fighting for every point? League positions mean everything, always. You can't get promoted when you're 7th (for talk sake) .
If this was one game, I would understand your other posts belittling those concerned, but this is a poor run of form and people are rightly concerned that deja vu will strike.
As I've said in many posts, I believe we will win the league by six points. That doesn't mean I'm not frustrated at our form and Farke showing signs of poor form himself. He can do better, and he should be. We need him on form now, not in three games.

Just a quick point. Blunts lost to Oxford. Do positions mean everything for them too, or is that only applicable to us at Leeds?
