Whereas Leeds Utd recruiting a good competent reliable goalkeeper in
past 2 seasons was always entirely in Leeds Utd own hands.
Mr Marathe said in his interview in Aug 2023 when he took over he and his board and mgt would do everything to ensure Lèeds Utd achieve promotion.

Baz is ultra negative we know but he’s kinda correct.
We really should be a good few points clear at the top.
Continually playing Aaronson is like playing with ten men this year and not utilising the squad when players are fatigued and off form. Gnonto showed yesterday that he probably should have started more games and Rama earlier in the season was electric before an injury. Rotation keeps players on their toes whereas if you know you’re going to start every week complacency sets in.
We have the best squad in the division and if we fail to get promoted then it’s on one man.
In saying that I’m confident we will get the job done in typical Leeds way too hard than it should have been manner.

OP I do think he’s correct on the ten points though. We have far and away the best squad and really imo should be out of sight. How many Burnley and Sheff Utd players would get in our first eleven? Trafford yes and Brownhill maybe and Hamer probably because Aaronson is so shite. A few of the rest might make the Leeds bench!

Cork in hindsight which we are all very good at when it is not us making the decisions, is very easy to make the calls we should’ve done this or that when you should know football doesn’t work that way.

Is it a weak league? Bielsa’s championship side would 4th in this league at this moment. Suggests some very strong teams at the top of this league.
The bottom 3 in our league today have 15 more points than the bottom 3 in Bielsa’s league at the same time.
It may be weaker than last season, but that was very much anomaly.
