Sly move another of our games to 12:30. 4 of our remaining 9 matches are now 12:30pm kick offs. Insane.
13 Mar 2025 23:35:32
Will it even stop there!
The penultimate game at home currently 3pm to Bristol City end of April might also be a Sly Sports live target for 1230pm change.
Be frigging great though for that potential live Sly Sports televised match vs Bristol City to be a LUFC Championes Celebration Party!

Will those particular fixtures also be reffed and lined only by those hailing from Moss Side?
With instructions not to award yellows to the opposition in order to placate a betting syndicate?
With instructions not to award ?️?️ to Leeds no matter how clear and obvious?
With final instructions to permit punches to be thrown at DJ head?

Lol Geo
If so,
" I predict a riot. I predict a riot! '
14 Mar 2025 07:26:17
For me I don’t get what 2hrs30mins earlier kick off does to our team specifically to make us not win a game.
It can only be coincidence? Surely.
The only people it can affect would be the fans with travel arrangements with away games.
14 Mar 2025 07:44:01
If they can get away with Chanting comments like let him die what do you expect they have no balls at the top to deal with this unless of cause it’s LEEDS UTD corruption at the highest level investigation immediately required.
14 Mar 2025 08:38:04
I’m with you on that one opti. Can’t see it makes any difference. But it obviously does. When the kick off early is it so it’s live on tv? Maybe jitters about so many people watching. I dunno.
14 Mar 2025 09:10:47
They really are trying everything within their power to keep Leeds in the champo.
I expect a last minute docking of ten points for have EE in our name, infringing on copyright.
14 Mar 2025 09:18:47
Absolutely no logical reason as to why early kick offs should impact upon performance, however, coincidence or not we average 2.4 points kicking off 3pm and evening games and only 1.1 with early kick offs, a bit like our difficulty in scoring from corners, apparently hardly any teams score from corners, Arsenal aside.
It seems as though we always struggle in London, and QPR is my least favourite fixture of the season bar none especially when they derailed our promotion hopes by bullying us of the park 4-0 last time but they needed it to stay up.
Farke is meticulous in his preparations and has spoken previously of late returns, less rest for his team with the early kick offs, possibly why he didn’t make subs last time out with less recovery time?
Will make sense if he mixes it up for QPR but I doubt it.
Only time will tell but a win at QPR will be a massive step forward going into the international break.
14 Mar 2025 11:24:19
OP How can it be coincidence when it's a proven pattern?
I believe I know why this is happening and what we must do to counteract.
14 Mar 2025 12:07:48
. ' Cliff hanger" Georgey lol
do reveal all.
14 Mar 2025 12:46:34
Baz Imo an early kickoff alters the psychology and expectation of the fixture from a regular league affair (during which we outclass, out possess the opposition) to something more physical. This is subsequently reflected by the refereeing as many opponent fouls simply ignored. With that tone set, before you know it becomes more of old-fashioned cup tie and over last half century we've been woeful in cup competitions. In short, because it becomes more physical we ? it.
To counteract we must use our more physical players such as Joseph and Willy and deploy a youngster such as Chambers for cannon fodder so we have more of a legitimate gripe with the referee when he is inevitably fouled.
This means removing the ??? from lineup as such a game will pass him by.
Physical games tend to be low scoring as sides focus on scrapping. Games we've lost this season have all been 1-0. It'd be different if we had Amps but we don't.
AIMO.

Cheers Georgey for explanation
For me its all about Leeds United needing to considerably up their tempo from the off
much more likely then to crucially score early . then its an entirely different dynamic to the game and much more favourable result outcome for LUFC
. Leeds under Farkey start wayyyy too slowly in a lot of these early matches .
14 Mar 2025 19:50:22
Immense post George. Post of the season for me that is. It’s definitely not coincidence our awful record in early kick off games, or playing in London.
You should be the new Leeds United psychology coach! And while we’re at it, do you know anything about corner kick routines? And a decent attacking midfielder knocking about?
14 Mar 2025 21:05:12
C&J Thank you ? for your kind words.
Set pieces Roth delivery key with Struick and Firpo lurking always a threat.
As for a CAM, Luna or Buendia would do for me.
14 Mar 2025 23:22:50
George your comment doesn’t make any sense, just because something is proven to happen more than once doesn’t disclude it from being a coincidence.
The only other explanation is possibly that the players themselves create their own hoodoo because it’s happened more than a few times. There’s no evil forces or mumbo jumbo trickery going on
Surely it’s not because the players could lie in bed for an extra hour!
If we beat QPR tomorrow what will that say about playing London clubs at midday? exactly, a load of bollox!
15 Mar 2025 01:52:54
OP I think you missed that bit on the end of George’s very insightful post, he said AIMO! We are allowed to post things on here without the fear on being wrong, like my post above about playing more games early than Burnley and Sheffield United together! The comment I posted was actually from an independent football writer, so if they think what we know then there is something in it, isn’t there ?♂️?♂️ just read the posts for what they are, it’s not bollox nor is it anything other than peoples opinions ALAW ??.
15 Mar 2025 06:35:46
It’s only Banter Woody, no one would know what the reason is is, if there even is any reason from any posters on here, including myself.
I’m just making my opinion fella.
It’s especially when posts are made to look like gospel I like to make my own opinion, hence me strongly dismissing and countering that post, Christ knows it’s done to me enough times by a certain pair.
15 Mar 2025 11:57:03
True very true OP, and yes you are right it’s just banter. To be honest mate, I just want a win today then maybe just maybe this early kick off thing is put to bed! For as long as I’ve been a supporter there has always been theories as to why we lose, like the kit, the time we play, the choice of ref, clubs in London, do you remember the travel and how we get to away matches, that got so bad that they got rid of the bus and bought a new one, the next match we won. Loads and loads of theories, bizarre but provocative ? mate
Fingers crossed ? for a great result today ????.
