I was surprised by a number of posts. My view of the game is that it showed that most teams if they pack their defence and work together can give a hard time. Yes we are at the top of the division and scored the most goals. That is because we are very good at pressing high up the pitch we have pace and good individual skills. So, if James an the other wide men, for example is given enough space to get in behind defences we will eventually score. usually, until recently if we score and teams have to come out and go for the equaliser there is more space and more opportunities and more goals. Unfortunately if we we don't get an early goal it get a bit nervous and we appear to run out of ideas On the down side we don't have a creative '10' who can unlock these defences, we have a goal keeper who can save us one minute and throws away points the next, we are again struggling at set pieces and our finishing is usually woeful. Although we completely dominated the game against Harrogate strangely enough they, like other teams we have beaten, they could have got a result. They had a couple of chances and we only scored one when Sutton went to sleep. It could have been embarrassing. My concern now that teams are adopting this approach we could slip behind Burnley and Sheffield, perhaps even Sunderland, and we are in the same position as last season. I can't see us finishing below third but with our track record that might not be good enough.

You know Hess during the first 45 min I said to myself it’s not really a game of football. I detest teams sitting back Even though I know why they do it. It’s just not a football game. It’s boring. Second half a bit better. Give them credit they avoided a pummeling but. Yknow. Just boring tactics.

And speaking of the goalkepper situation Meslier and Darlow.

I notice in his post match interview by Daniel Farke made sure. he made no mention of it at all.

And Bryn Law and Tony Dorigo conspicuouslg failed to ask Farkey for his opinion of Darlow's performance given the huge furore over gk position at Leeds United

Shame.

It was treated as a friendly really. Giving players some much needed minutes to get match fitness back was clearly the priority.
