the best i can say is, too many people had their off day during the same game. It seemed to be a catalogue of, wrong decision, poorly executed. Again Aaronson showed his inate skill, in running around a lot and as for Gnonto, he is trying just not very hard. Killing time until the next window?
We again topped the posession stats but failed to score. Piroe was a waste of space and should have never started. Please DF stop playing your favourites in the hope that they will come good. There is a big problem with Matteo (or anybody in the same position) If he is near to starting but can't get picked the very worse thing you can consistently do is sit him on the bench. The lad (or anybody) needs minutes. Sometime maybe that has to come in the "reserves"? I know it's maybe a quandary - with no answer.

Correct
2 goals in 15 games WG is definitely underachieving
I would definitely drop WG to bench most certainly when Rama is back.

Gnonto needs resting for a few games. Maybe he's off in January and is just marking time?
MJ needs minutes, for sure, but I think his ability is greater than Piroe's, especially in our play style, yet Farke persists with Piroe who is better as a 70min sub.
Ramazani and James 1st picks
Chambers and Solomon 2nd
Gnonto 3rd.

MoT I think a few on here are being a little harsh on gnonto. He has only just turned 21. His form is going to be up and down. He did have a couple of decent chances last night and he beat his full back a number of times.
The same with Mj he is of the age a couple of his last starts he was not making the same runs and affecting the game as much but again form and confidence of young players can go up or down very quickly.

Whitey,
Gnonto is off form and I'm pretty sure is he hiding an injury. He did this last season (with his back I think) and was eventually forced to take a few games off. When he came back he played much better.
He has real talent and when he rockets the ball in from outside the box, he is one of the best in the world.
I saw drop him because he's stubborn and a young kid who wants to play.

I agree Ben, Gnonto is one of our most effective players, that’s why he normally has two to three players tracking him as he makes his advances on goal, like at Millwall, it was very difficult for him to do anything in that game as they saw him as the main threat. That then is Aaroson’s job to deflect the heat off Gnonto but for me Aaronson losses the ball too often in trying to take on about five defenders.

5 assists and two goals so far. averages out roughly at a goal contribution every 2 games. At times Millwall had 3 men on him; that, as a player is a valuable contribution in space creation. He is important to the way we play, but yes, less effective when facing a low block team, of which Millwall are masters.
