On current form, and with injury record also considered, at the moment I don’t think we’d loose a lot by terminating Solomon’s loan and giving Joffy a go instead. The lad has got ability and would be determined to prove himself. When given the chance, he managed to leave a few lower level Prem defenders on their arses, and that’s (at best) the level of defenders he’d face every game in the Champo.

Joffy had so much promise but never lived up to it. Didn’t he do badly in a leauge one team? Certainly gone out on loan and did nothing
Give Solomon a chance he has talent just needs to get fit. Spurs own Solomon they are never buying joffy, think that says it all.

Yes I'd like to see gelhart have more minutes. Solomon looked far from sharp yesterday when he came on.
You could see Dj was a bit away from full fitness but he made a contribution.

I think Joffy would offer more than Bamford at the minute, so he would be on second sub if chasing a goal after Piroe / Joseph; whomever started.

Solomon might be a Spuds player but he is now a million miles in fitness and form from being an EPL player
Fairly sure he won't play for Spuds again, hardly played in 2 seasons, a needless very risky loan by Leeds recruitment.
I really liked Joffy in EPL. The guy has talent . if he had pace he would be a very good player.

Berm - Shakthar Donetsk took a punt on Solomon picking up from the Israeli league, and because the Ukrainian league isn’t the most competitive, that club qualified easily for the Champions League - giving the lad a chance to showcase his skills to a wider audience.
Joffy on the other hand wasn’t given sufficient minutes by Bielsa when we fans were clamouring for him ahead of Tyro, and that stinted his development - and he’s never been given a proper go since. When he was loaned to Sunderland he was brought in to play second striker, in behind their no9, but when the latter got injured Joffy had to play up top, which isn’t really his game. He’s perfectly capable of playing as an inverted winger but never really been given the chance there.
It’s often circumstances as much as talent and attitude which can lead to players developing to their potential or not - Solomon has been given a chance to develop, but is now struggling with injuries, whereas Joffy hasn’t actually been given a genuine chance yet, so we don’t know what he can become, or who could potentially wish to sign him if he does get a proper opportunity to flourish.

Good point clue and I will always agree with anything that slates beilsa, I forgot how much he loved Tyler Roberts!

Aus James did well and the fact you compare leeds with city abd pool is laughable and for the record yes even they drop points when missing players, not as many but then city have spent 1.2 billion on players so maybe just maybe we can’t compare ourselves to them?

Even with your running commentary on all the hopeless and terrible players we have, we are going to walk this league even with a terrible manager.

Joffy is talented lad but he has never nailed down a position. As as been said he never had the pace for bielsa's team.
Not a 9 and not clever enough for a 10.
But he could do a job as one of the wide strikers in farkes team.
I'm not writing Solomon off but he needs a good few games to get back to fitness.
Obviously we are judging Manor and Dj when they have been forced to come back and perform . If largie was fit we might of seen one or both of them.

Mot. Spence came to us on loan because he didn't fit in with anges plans at Tottenham. He played a few times for us and was a bit underwhelming. His body language stank on the pitch. Off the pitch he was disrespectful and late for everything. Even late for a charity gig. So we parted ways. Some people think he wasn't given the enough chance but I think he just didn't show the desire to be at leeds.

I knew something happened behind the scenes and that's what killed the loan, because spurs dropped him like a hot rock when he went back.
It's a shame because he did have talent, he just didn't want to be at Leeds.

I think if everyone is honest with themselves they would agree that Gelhardt has not grasped his chances when given to him. Solomon however has not had enough chances to make his claim yet and has admitted his fitness is not up to full speed yet.
To simply label him a sick note doesn’t mean anything as far as his time at Leeds is concerned.
I don’t think there should be any about his qualities but he must prove it and our judgment of him will come at the end of this season.
Spence it appears had a attitude problem and it’s clear that it was a mistake to recruit him.

One of main issue with Solomon is that he was out injured all last season with a serious injury.
And its yet to be proven he can be the player he was before. He certainly looks to be struggling and well off pace.
Spuds supporters claim he has lost his pace.
It waa always a verr risky loan and at £60K a week s very expensive one.
He'll be sent back in Jan if he is not producing.

Admittedly it’s not very often he’s come on as a sub but there have been an accountable amount of opportunities he’s had, just ask yourself how many times has he scored a goal when he has come off the bench. As a forward that’s what his job is, Joseph is a good example of a youth player making his mark.
If you really want to look up all the stats on Gelhardt then you will understand.
He was relatively poor and underachieved at his loan spell at Sunderland, only scoring 3 goals in 20 games.
Having said that Joffy is a workhorse and has penned a deal to stay at Leeds until 2027. But I can see if we are promoted his days at the club will be numbered.
