You’ve got to expect some games like this away, the game against Bristol city last season was no different, we won that one 0-1 with a Gnonto goal but they were very difficult to break down. There were a couple of decent chances to score a goal but that’s the way the cookie crumbles in games like this.
A point is a point with a tricky away game, we can’t and will not win every game away this season.

Also a point worth noting, although it’s the same for both teams, playing twice a week can be energy sapping, especially for the more offensive team who is looking to win as opposed to a team like Bristol whose intent is to defend and draw a game at home.

I wouldn’t focus on Sunderland’s decent start, they will definitely have a blip or two in their campaign.
Don’t get me wrong they look a decent force under Régis le Bris and will be in the mix come the end but there’s nothing outstanding that suggests to me that they will run away with this league.

West Brom and Burnley both dropping points at home to their respective struggling visitors suggests also to me that the Championship is alive and well, predicting results in this league is not a good idea.
Winning promotion from this insane league is never guaranteed and the fight to achieve that is always extremely difficult in my opinion, in the toughest football league in the world.

Nothing outstanding about any team from what I’ve seen. Even Burnley who beat us. My gripe is we are better than this. We need to get a level of consistency. Then we will be out on our own instead of scrapping most weeks and dropping points unnecessarily. We don’t need to play the championship game. We have the talent to beat everybody. To not beat a team with 68% and 17 when they had 0 on target is ridiculously wasteful.

Completely agree Aus - it will come probably around the same time it did last season when we went on that fantastic run after Christmas but this year we won't slip up at the end, we will simply move away from everyone:)

Good post op. We are in a strong position and have shown that the teams at the top are beatable. As with last season we are awaiting leeds to click up front.
A couple of wrong decisions and couple of good saves and a stop on the line.
Solid point.
Next fat boy Rooney at Elland Road.

Aus, we are better, and we do need consistency, but with the number of injuries and bans that we currently have, we are always going to struggle. We got a draw, we played poor, and we didn't score (see the rhyming there) . Once we get settled, I have no doubt we will be winning this league. Accept an away draw, and move on to Plymouth at home.

Ipswich and Leicester had decent starts last season. Then decent Middles and decent ends. The only blips they had is when we fell apart.

Promotion is always important but if we don't go up this year, our team will be gutted of any talent. The cultures will come in and snatch Rodon, amps, Gruev, Rothwell, Tanaka, Largie, Gnonto, Firpo, maybe even Bogle.

We will end up with Piroe, wober and scrambling for Poundland midfielders.

MOTalaw indeed we are one more failed promotion season from becoming similar to say a Stoke City.
