Has Farke won favour with the fans after the form that the team has been in recently?
Or is his job still on a razor edge? Does a loss at home mean he's out on the plank again, or is he plain sailing until the end of the season?

No one (except perhaps the usual suspects) is getting giddy with Leeds meh form of 4 wins out of 9 .
BUT imo Farke will remain as Leeds boss till at least end of season.

I think the same applies as it did a few weeks ago - the board wanted us to be top two or in touching distance of by the end of the Sheff U game or potentially the one after. if not, the feeling is he will be gone.

I think our position is good and apart from a couple of games ie. Cardiff our performance has been better than last season.
I'm with baz farke is not perfect and some games haven't been good but he remains a tried and trusted manager at this level.
I cannot see farke going anywhere. Who better to steer us through a tough time with injuries. When the end of the season comes then I'll judge. Still got the hangover from the previous owners.

Injuries may have given him a bit longer. We are at home so should win next two. If we not in top two by November or Xmas at the latest, I believe he will be gone. Owners and manager were happy with the window so they thought this team good enough for promotion. New manager and a jan window tweak.

For some bizarre reason there are some that believe this season the Championship is so weak that we should walk it. As you may have noticed there’s only three points that separates top to sixth and I don’t see much difference come Xmas. Do we sack Farke if we are sixth but only three points behind the leaders?
I believe it will be in the new year that one or two teams might make a little points difference in the league and I fancy us being one of those teams.
Please can we stop this, let’s sack the coach one minute then changing the next.

I don’t think you have seen any of our games Opti because if you had you would have seen how crap the teams we have played are. The fact we have dropped any points is to me, disappointing. Damn right he needs sacking if we not top very very soon. I don’t get why some can’t see that.

It’s funny how folks see things differently Aus. If everyone is dropping points, you interpret it as everyone is crap, where’s the usual interpretation under those circumstances is it is a stronger (tighter) league?
Of the teams we have played thus far, no one can argue that Norwich and WBA were stronger than they were last season, however, Wednesday, and Cardiff weaker than last season. I watched QPR last week at Derby, and I found it unfathomable how that team could have put 4 past us: I was surprised that they could have tied their own shoe laces. They made Derby look like Real Madrid.
For what is worth, I think we are playing better, than at the same stage last year, but don’t think this team is capable of going on a 15 match winning streak. I think the league is pretty much the usual standard, just the mix is different as typical of the Championship, anyone can put a run together and get into contention, and likewise fall away; note, this time last season, Preston were the team everyone was talking about, and we were already 9 points off top.
I hope the 49’s are sensible, in that sacking the manager is 9 times out of 10 fruitless at this time of a season, because no one demonstrably better is available, it won’t solve the injuries, there can be no new players and aside from the unfortunate last few seconds of the last match, we would essentially be top already, far better than last season. A new manager now, is foolhardy, expensive, and achieves nothing.
I think, the current team is better than last seasons, is playing ok, will get better as I think the new players are better, and some of the better players, like James are due to return. Farke is managing games better this season, because he knows the team better. All my opinion of course.

That’s a good post ani and we all have differing opinions. But as you say. Top of table Sunderland hadn’t conceded a goal at home were bossed by Leeds and we didn’t win. We have dropped many unnecessary points this season and while it might be individual mistakes, that dosent resolve the manager. I believe we have the ability and skill to win the league and should already be top. The fact we ain’t is down to players and manager. Unfortunately players don’t get sacked for under performing so manager and buck stops etc. finally. We don’t know the future so it’s fruitless to say the next manager will not be better or who is available. Living in the day at the moment. He has underperformed. Lose either of next 5. Then he is still underperforming.

Excellent post Ani, very realistic breakdown of our form and league to date.

Biggest test this season .
Head says a 1 1 draw
Hoping though we can somehow keep. a clean sheet.
