If we had beaten Burnley, we would be top of the league right now.
One win off of the top is a good place to be. It would be better to be top but it could be much, much worse.
Here's to an optimistic win against Norwich.

Will be interesting to see how LUFC team and squad deal with next 2 away games at Norwich and Sunderland
Leeds United this season are generally competent to good ( ish) and thankfully the Champo is weak this season.
would be delighted with 6 points
and happy with 4 points from next 2 games.

The Championship is never weak, you are misguided if you think it ever is.
Injuries are a part of football and it always opens the door to other players to stake a claim for any position that becomes vacated.
Question is will Farke’s intention of making several rotations be put on the shelf? There’s one or two players that ideally should be rested who are carrying minor injuries, especially in these two very tough away games, Struijk being potentially one of them.
Amp’s natural replacement would seem to be Ao Tanaka who looked very competent in replacing him against Cov. The fear is that we could incur further injuries, which then could become problematic. Losing Struijk also for a long term injury could have implications for our promotion push.

More accurate assessment is to say the Championship is weaker this season than last.

Yes George that's what I have stated up to yesterday.
Competitive lowish quality OP.

Very true op.

I think the league is probably weaker in the sense that there will be no fly-aways this season, but at the same time I think it will be more competitive. Let's be frank last season the top 3/ 4 were always that for the entire season and only really 3 or 4 more really at the play-off races. This season, I think a lot more teams will be in the mix for auto's and play-offs. for longer.

I’ve already tried to explain this several times, Leicester had an abundance of quality players in their squad on paper they would win the league last season ten times out of ten. Ipswich had very little quality but desire and competitiveness in abundance, also very lucky with little to no injuries throughout the season.
Southampton, some quality players but would not have been promoted had we not had that slump after the internationals, for whatever reason that was.?
You could say only us and Leicester had quality last season, sadly for us there were too many mitigating reasons why we didn’t succeed.
This season there is no Leicester type team but there will be a number of teams this season, including us, that will 100% believe they can obtain promotion.
Weakened Championship absolutely no f@@king way and more fool you if you think it is.
