He's our best finisher, but can't do anything else we need him to as a lone CF. That's why he's best coming off the bench when we are ahead. Can keep closing games out like that all season, for me. And that's what he should be doing as we get the best out of him then.
He's not capable of running the channels like Joseph did all game. He is really bad in possession. He is slow and unathletic so struggle's press or create space for himself with darting runs when against a low or mid block. A lot better in transitional phases, which we get plenty more chance of when we are already winning.
How many penners has Struijk missed tbf, Baz? (Genuine question as I'm not sure) Only remember him missing this one during a game. He's scored plenty and has generally been reliable. Although you'd rather see your attackers show some balls and step up.

Park Piroe in the box and send him balls, he will score all day long. Ask him to run or take the ball passed a defender and he's poor.
He did do a bit of a decent run today and if he could do more of that, he would be a premier league level scorer.
Hopefully with DJ and ramazani on the wings and BA feeding the balls in from the centre, Piroe might have a chance at converting some.
