After we lose to Cardiff (Bottom of the table) this weekend, D Farke will be Fired and should be Fired! If not there will be more Playoff Heartbreak heading our way.

Agree8 Disagree0

Replace with whom though Hooksie?

There lies an issue.

15 Sep 2024 19:04:37
whomever Baz. If we keep doing what where been doing, We will Keep getting what we have been getting!

15 Sep 2024 19:34:19
Farke has the next 5/ 6 games.

15 Sep 2024 19:38:03
Club are keen on Corberan but will to trigger his release clause and he may not be keen to leave WBA right now although he has always been keen on the Leeds job.

15 Sep 2024 19:48:36
Dill’s pick Igor Tudor seems still to be available. Graham Potter is still free, if he wanted to return to his wife’s home county, having picked up his Honorary Doctorate from Leeds Becketts Uni in June - though perhaps he’s hoping for another immediate Prem chance, or the England post. Gus Poyet is free, might be popular with some, may feel he has unfinished business here, and appears more tactically flexible than DF. It would be interesting to hear Dill’s views on Gus, and some of the others that could perhaps be tempted to take the hot seat at Elland Road if 49ers decided a change was needed.

15 Sep 2024 19:59:19
Corbs would be great with this squad.

15 Sep 2024 21:10:21
Alf, If he has 5/ 6 games our season is over. He wins 2 out of 6 and the 49er's will keep him and that's when our season ends. We waited too late before and we continue making the same mistakes. D Farke has been piss poor and It's costing us again. Just speaking facts.

If he proves me wrong than I'll definitely give him his Due. Can't see it happening though.

15 Sep 2024 21:11:22
They're putting the feelers out Alf?

Doesn't sound like it's just fans over reacting. It feels like a lot of people want more, positive results. Farke has shown that he can do it, but can he get that mojo back and do it again, consistently?

When you're the manager, you take the glory and the stick.

15 Sep 2024 21:30:43
Super defensive tactical boring corboran? because he has won so much.

15 Sep 2024 21:59:23
I like Corberan, good coach, but I seem to remember he didn’t fancy the Leeds job before Farke joined us and signed a 4 year extension with WBA. The Leeds manager job is a difficult one, the fan’s expectations is often very high and because of our history we have teams like in this league who will constantly play with extra determination to beat us.
I can see why Carlos Corberan opted out, it’s a great job to get but comes with a massive ball and chain.

15 Sep 2024 22:11:23
It would not surprise me at all if Mr Marathe and Co were putting out feelers

Along with the end of last season debacle . Leeds under Farke don't convince this season.

15 Sep 2024 23:56:03
The Leeds manager job is the easiest in the EFL but it requires you to do little managing Vs other clubs.
ER need a showman manager, someone to get the crowds pumped up, to get belief injected into the team.

Standing on the sidelines with arms folded and a face like a bulldog chewing a wasp does nothing for the crowd, which does nothing for the players.

MOTagain superb set of posts today.

16 Sep 2024 07:00:01
MoT it’s not an easy job and that is the reason that no manager/ coach could get us back to the Premiership after 17 years until Marcello turned up. That also included mangers who won promotion before like Monk, Colin, MacDermott etc.
What kind of showman manager are you looking at? Allardyce maybe, whoops failure.
We tried to get quality managers before with Radz, which included Slot and Iraola, guess what, they didn’t want to come to Leeds.
Face the facts MoT instead of dreaming.

Baz, is it necessary to praise MoT’s posts every time he responds to one of my posts. You wouldn’t be trying to score points over other fellow posters again would you Baz?
Naughty boy.

Opti,

Managers won't come to Leeds because the shirt is heavy. Many players, commentators and managers have discussed the atmosphere at Elland road. If that is something a manager doesn't like, they won't come.
Look at any game from last season, the majority of them had the fans singing before we scored, then when we did, even if we were behind, the fans got louder and louder and we were knocking them in for fun.
You could feel the delight when we faced Leicester and Norwich. Even watching games, you can feel the excitement and anticipation that "were going to score soon". None of that is there anymore.

A Leeds manager has to manage the team, sure. But they need to know how to manage the crowds and built the excitement for the fans. The fans are the twelfth player on the pitch, something that has been discussed before.

It might sound wild but it's true. Bielsa played new and exciting football, he got the fans and the crowd behind him.
Leeds with their head down never win. Leeds with their chins up with the crowd behind them are giant killers.

16 Sep 2024 09:50:06
OP . not just MOTalaw but Dill's posts too are also excellent re Farke

( Kevin Keegan voice ) " I am lurving it . )

Berma and OP . so misguided on Farke. he ain't the man to get Leeds promoted . and in EPL he is proven a disaster

the likes of Moyes and Potter have far better records in EPL.

16 Sep 2024 10:00:48
Fact . Another really good post from MOTalaw. he has raised his game.

The only counterpoint MOT is again I ask you why you predicted at start of season that Leeds would smash league with 8 games. clearly never happening esp given your reticence and critique of Farke?

16 Sep 2024 10:14:14
Lol OP! Baz is doing exactly what he had a go at me about with your posts!
I do feel there are some good points that come thro a lot of MoT’s posts, and it’s great to have him here as a regular now.
However. And this is a big one. The pressure, the expectation, as a one club city, fanatics literally as fans, great following week in and out, the clamour for success, the atmosphere, the heritage and tradition, the squad ability, the new owners, plus many other factors, make it one of THE biggest and most difficult, yet potentially rewarding, jobs in certainly U. K. football, and probably beyond. That is not arrogance, nor delusional, nor living in the past.

16 Sep 2024 10:14:52
Corberan is far more versatile than Farke, Bermo. He's had to be because of his squad. He adapts to different teams and he's certainly more well prepared. Guessing you've not watched him much last few seasons if you think he's super defensive tactically.

16 Sep 2024 10:43:40
Yep I be doing a " Brighty Bandwagon"

With the crucial difference I am doing it to truly excellent posts

You Brighteth were not ???.

16 Sep 2024 11:39:14
So now you’re resorting to pure opinion slating, and an “if you don’t agree, you’re wrong” approach. Very good. Are you just a new breed of Victor Meldrew? Stubborn to the point of ignorance, unwilling to listen to perspectives other than those that suit your own negative agenda, and simply grumpy as ****?

16 Sep 2024 14:30:49
Baz,

I'll admit, arms up, that I never considered the possibility that Farke would be on the same lack of form as last season, though I did believe (and hopefully mentioned) that RB/ 49ers would shed Farke if he didn't get the team back to its best. He has so far failed to do that so the rumours of him going reassure me that 49ers/ RB are taking no prisoners.

It may be a tactical decision by 49ers to not buy a CF, I know that sounds crackers but if we did buy one and he papered over the cracks of Farkes weaknesses, would we repeat last season where we fall apart on the final stretch?

We have enough goal scorers in the team to get us through to January, but if they're not working, then a CF means little.

16 Sep 2024 14:46:55
Cheers for the well reasoned calm and thoughtful reply MOT

As you know I haven't been convinced by DF for a year. since he got absolutely out thought by Russell Martin in an abject Leeds away perfomance followeed by further woeful away performances at Rotherham, Sunderland, Preston, Baggies in Nov and Dec 2023.which cost us promotion imo

We need better than Farke to go up.

16 Sep 2024 15:58:28
Yes Baz and how your opinion has changed within a very short period. So, like I tried to convey to you before, are you sure you don’t want to change your famous prediction of Leeds finishing top of the league if Farke is still with us?
Come on where are we going to finish now if Farke stays?
I’m sure that will change again in a couple of weeks though knowing you.

16 Sep 2024 17:16:56
Mg predictions and opinions have not changed at all OP.

1 I haven't rated Farke since last September 2023 since Saints 3 vs Leeds1

2 Woeful Champo level this season 24/ 25 that even Farke should just about get Leeds over promotion line

3 if he falters in next matches his successor should get Leeds promoted

I am sticking with 1st all season . no change fella . hard lines OP.

16 Sep 2024 19:54:20
"We need better than Farke to go up"
That was in your post before mine, what happened the 1st and promotion then?
Sorry Baz but I don’t think you know what you post even directly after posting.

16 Sep 2024 23:06:03
Yes OP we need better ( Kieran McKenna standard ) than Farke as we should and would already be promoted to EPL in season 23/ 24

And in weaker Champo 24/ 25 . with a better coach we sprint over the promotion line rather than limp over it with Farke ( or perhaps still narrowly miss out on promotion again with Farke.

16 Sep 2024 23:08:00
. Moyesy for Leeds . OP.

17 Sep 2024 08:42:02
I bloody well hope not.
