I was looking at the live match chat on this site today and there was a lot of posts, but sadly not one of them was positive. The way many talk about Leeds on here is borderline questionable, I sometimes have to check that I am reading a Leeds United banter site and not a Chelsea we hate Leeds site!
I mean come on lads, ok it’s not the best start and anyone can beat anyone in this league. Lots of you are banging on about Bogle being crap, Gruev, Junior Firpo and lots of others. Baz you were desperate for Gnonto to stay, but now he’s crap. We are five games in, 2 wins, 2 draws and a loss of which we should have won.
This chat about MJ and Bamford, well for me Bamford should be gone grazing somewhere and MJ will only get better by experience, I bet he won’t miss a chance like that again as his experience of missing it will make him better. Let’s give these young lads a break.
Firpo is doing a lot better than last season, splitting Ampadu and Rodon up hasn’t seemed to work, Rodon seems lost next to Struick. Gruev doesn’t seem to want to play next to Ampudu. The whole set up seems to be failing. Is Gnonto our 10 or is Anderson?
What disappointed me today was DF’s reaction to being one nil down, he took of Anderson when he was lively, he brought on AO far to late, 85th minute I think, our replacement for Cry was great when he came on, but they are not getting long enough, Piroe came on and was about as effective as a chocolate biscuit in hot coffee, what is going on?
I know that a lot of negativity is rife on here, but come on Baz, please change the record regarding Meslier, he’s not going anywhere soon and we really don’t have any replacements, this is not having a go at you either Baz, you are a good poster but you really are like a dog with a bone and just won’t let go.
I get if we don’t win and all that, it’s not that it is weaker league and Burnley are second favs to go up with us. We are FIVE games in, we will get promoted, DF just has to start earning his crust or he’s out, but it will all come good. Great posts OP, Brighty, Dill, Cleggy and Aus, Alf, Corky, MOTagain, Ani, others just have to keep the faith, start being honest instead of just slating us all the time, When I saw a six year old boy who died on the screen today getting applauded it hurt at half time that on our live chat on here it never got a mention as there was just loads of negativity. Put it all in perspective boys, enjoy the season and enjoy the football. We will come good once I’ve got hold of DF round the throat! lol ? ALAW, MOT. ????.

Some observations
1) Two seasons ago Woody you stated repeatedly along with OP : ' Leeds will not get relegated ' But we did!
2) Last season you stated repeatedly along with OP ' Leeds will get promoted ' But we did NOT!
3) So forgive me BUT why on earth should one believe you or OP or concur with your statement that one should not exercise one's right to be critical (when indeed there is plenty to be critical of! )
4) Indeed Woody even you in half of your post above you have been CRITICAL!
5) I was brought up on excellence for my club Leeds United and I expect better! I have higher expectations and standards for my beloved club!
6) Re Statue Meslier . the unprofessional motionless and out of position guy has to do better in so many games! Dive! Save! He is frigging 6 foot 6 with long arms he should be awesome but instead he is losing us points year upon year ! He should be nowhere near our first eleven imo!
7) Gnonto missing a sitter again greatly disappointed me . and we had little pace in our team. I missed DJ big time.

Good post Woody. The lad did get a mention on the six minute mark but the comments were "that's nice" and "good to see". It could have been if you weren't watching at the time but it was mentioned.
There's plenty to be positive about and plenty to be realistic about.

Baz why do you constantly bring things up that people said it’s borderline bloody childish it really is, and for your information I have not slagged off my team like you do, no far from it, I have made some points which is a big difference to your constant assassination of our players. Meslier is one of the youngest goal keepers in the league, the thing is we already know what you think of him so do you have to keep repeating yourself? Do you have to keep point scoring with your little boy factoids of what posters said in 1955. Some of the good posters are bored of it.
Here’s a fact for you Baz, Brighty’s posts, OP posts, Ani’s posts, Class’s posts, Corky’s posts and many many others are great honest and thought provoking posts, have you ever noticed that you are the ONLY ONE that brings up what people have said in past posts, have you ever gone back and looked at your own posts, have a look Baz and see how many of them say the same thing, how of your posts mention Gashlier as you eloquently put it, I dare you to look at how many times you repeat the same rubbish about our team. The thing is Baz you are a good poster without all that crap, you don’t need to do it.
I used to love this site until it became about how crap we are and I’m sorry but I don’t want to read about what somebody said 3 weeks ago, sorry guys but it really bores me and please remember it’s only my opinion. ?.

Do you know what Baz, I’ve tried with you but you bore the fricking life out of me with your constant drivel and there you are you have done it again in your last post! What a tool you are, a complete and utter tool. You are one of those men who can’t hold a conversation if you are proved wrong. You can’t hold a discussion without eluding to something that was said last time out! I’m done with your drivel, you are a sad individual who is completely devoid of any sensibility.
