International break sucks - way too many what with World, European, Nations, friendliest .
Way too many European games for clubs aswell. There is basically now a European Super League anyway.
Wouldn't bother me one iota if the "big six" broke away. EPL would become much more competitive and honest. I'm almost to the point where I prefer L1 and 2 but even they behave like prima Donna's !
I am interested in whoever and wherever we play, don't matter where or against who. Try telling me that the Bristol Rovers game wasn't an exciting roller coaster ride and after all isn't that what it's about.

1 substitute only
Halftime oranges

GIW - I have no idea who you are or what your background is but your propensity to completely miss the point never ceases to amaze me. Pass some time an$ string a few emojis together!

Georgey. also
1 Spectators wearing suits
2 and Standing on terraces
3 Players weekly wage 2 shillings
4. So no prima donnas
5.Sensible affordable season tickets pricing
that is AVAILABLE and affordable to EVERY one / working class game
6.and home kits worn away from home
7 Hard honest players no soft diving cheaters
8 And better refs, generally better decisions without VAR.

1970, surely the anticipation and excitement of playing against the likes of Man Utd and Liverpool must stir something inside you. If the prospect of never to play against these teams again actually happened, I think the core of everything I love about football would be broken.

George lol, or should I call you Ron?
05 Sep 2024 11:20:01
1970 but you knew baz would get giw that was almost as certain as leeds having a sh@t ref
I do concour I hate internationals.
05 Sep 2024 11:23:32
1970 What point did I miss? This post of yours we've seen before. You repeat and recycle the supposed good old days. Do you have a clamorous admiring rabble loving your archaic perspective?
05 Sep 2024 13:45:51
George, to be fair, there’s other folk on here who repeat and recycle posts/ views, whom I can’t recall you criticising for doing so, indeed I’m sure you can call to mind one such poster for whom you often seem to take on a role of chief admirer and cheer leader.

Cluey Fair dos to an extent. Won't lie I do like Baz knowledge and jovial persona despite a miniscule tendency of his to repeat. 1869 I mean 1970 however just keeps harping on about the excessive commercialization of the sport and I agree it's gotten out of hand but his aim is downward to play Bristol Rovers whereas mine is to see us visit San Siro, Bernabeu and Theatre of Hollow Myths again.

I know Berm, just wondering why George had chosen to jump on 1970 for doing so.
05 Sep 2024 19:43:16
It’s George ain’t it, him and baz do like do to there best to ruin a good group and self appoint themselves as the most important people in it
It’s like stattler and Waldorf without the comedy but with the hands still well and truely wedged up there….
05 Sep 2024 20:16:09
Err Mr Fiction Berma
'self appoint themselves as the most important in it '? Hmmm
Absolutely not true Berma. we are all equal. footie fans . having differences of opinion does not mean one thinks one is more important person fella
Give over.
05 Sep 2024 22:12:58
You certainly don’t come across like that and trust me, we are certainly not all equal sine people are better than others, it’s called class and decourum, which would of been classy if I knew how to spell it.
