Right guys, at what point do we start the protests and riots, assuming we're not signing anybody!

Only kidding, although in all seriousness, it's Tuesday afternoon and still nothing. Everyone knows that we need circa 4 players and it's going to get to a point where that's just not logistically possible.

I do fear that it will get ugly if we don't make signings, and quality ones for that matter.

I'm sick of checking my X feed for updates but just can't help myself. Then you get that sinking feeling when you realise there's no news, even though you knew there wouldn't be.

Someone should write a book about the trauma of being a Leeds fan. (SPARE - The Forgotten Leeds Fans)

Not to throw fuel on the bonfire but there's still rumours of Gnonto, Amps and Gruev leaving.

20 Aug 2024 14:24:32
Time to send in the heavy mob . have a few in mind lol ?.

20 Aug 2024 14:30:39
Thete is still time MOTagain to change your mind of your prediction of Leeds United crowned Champions with 8 matches still remaining.

Your wild optimism makes OP seem cautious almost pessimistic ?.

20 Aug 2024 14:32:44
Clubs will not sell when they can’t replace. So realistically 5-7 days left.
Unless of course they willing to pay asking price and have a contingency plan.
Listen to me lol. Who’s ever heard of that. In football. At Leeds lol.

20 Aug 2024 15:27:28
Bazzer, I'm sticking with it.
Leeds will be champos. Maybe with six games to spare after the shakey start ?.

20 Aug 2024 15:52:38
Wild optimism is only your opinion Baz, I would still say even if no more players came in we could still win this league, so long as we have unity and belief which I believe Farke is capable of installing into his players.

Losing two or three of your better players can be like a punch in the stomach but once you get your breath back you can stand up and fight, which I expect all our players to do.
Onwards and Upwards in my wildest optimism.

Just pay the money, Rowe an example of squabbling over a few quid. I wanted an airfryer in lock down, but so did everyone else, I bought one, paid over the odds, it works, does the job I want it to and I still have it. If Rowe helps with promotion, he will be worth more or the same anyway. Simples.

ive heard Lubi done, announced later and another announcement tomorrow.

20 Aug 2024 16:52:34
Lubi Alf, they slipped that one in didn't they. ??.

20 Aug 2024 17:21:08
Nice one Dougie! ???.

20 Aug 2024 17:54:36
Dougie, from Inbetweeners to air fryers! Berm will be asking you to write his next screenplay at this rate.

Mind you, I fully agree with the messaging on both examples.

20 Aug 2024 17:59:58
Imagine if we signed David Goodwillie and David Seaman along with Lubi ??.

20 Aug 2024 18:50:55
If only Koch had stayed. He would have worked well with lubi.

20 Aug 2024 19:41:55
Yep wild optimism OP. an accurate assessment imo.

20 Aug 2024 22:25:08
I welcome a bit of optimism, however wild. Counteracts the wanton despair some posters constantly seem afflicted by.

21 Aug 2024 07:28:22
That wanton despair is posted more frequently than any other poster tho, Alf! It’s depressing and infuriating at the same time to read the same buttwaffle over and over again!
Can we not arrange to send out some colouring books, or join the dots / puzzle books, so that there is something else to do and keep those posts to a minimum!? My daughter will donate some extra wide grip crayons!
