Jesurun Rak-Sakyi has agreed to join Sheffield United on loan.
07 Aug 2024 22:11:51
Blades might be the team to beat at this rate.
07 Aug 2024 22:22:28
This makes them a serious threat to the Championship ? title.
07 Aug 2024 22:44:08
You boys crack me up. You’ve probably never seen the lad play yet make his new team favourite for the league now. Unbelievable!
07 Aug 2024 23:00:53
That sounds a good loan for them Alf, I know very little about the lad other than recent stories of how good he could be, and how Saints were prepared to pay £7million for him on a perm transfer.
Never thought Palace would sell to a potential relegation rival though, still hope we get a couple more across the line before window closes but this could also be Willys perfect opportunity to be even better than Summerville was last season.
07 Aug 2024 23:54:16
They seem to be doing some good business.
08 Aug 2024 00:42:54
come on Corkster . pretty sure you expect the Blades to be in with a shout at of top 2.
08 Aug 2024 01:18:15
If he was that good Palace would not be letting him go so easily, apparently great player but will he do it for Sheffield Utd and the way they play under tosser Wilder! For me he will be hit or miss and I would think if he was that good we would have gone all out for him, but then that’s my opinion who knows ??.
08 Aug 2024 04:18:51
Palace are loaning him out ( not selling / " letting him go' ) Woody
so that he will develop into an even better player
Much as Brighton did with Ben White.
08 Aug 2024 04:20:28
Agreed Woody. If we were so keen on him, we would’ve got him. Prefer Rowe anyway, so let’s see if that gets done. Blunts will be in the top 6 mix, I’m guessing; that’s just because of Wilder, who I also dislike, but enjoy laughing at! Tbf tho, he does deliver most of the time.
08 Aug 2024 05:24:22
My dads palace and I know someone high up at the club. Raki is good and they don’t want to sell but they also don’t think he is near first team despite selling olise. Raki is not going to win them the leauge. I think the blunts will do mid table maybe just miss out on playoffs. I don’t fear them to be honest.
08 Aug 2024 05:31:24
Totally agree Brighty, and Baz, yes I know they are loaning him out, it was just my wording was not precise enough. They are still letting him go though in a sense unlike Leeds United did with Cry in his younger days in the prem. What I was trying to say is that Palace say he is a fantastic player yet they were considering a Southampton bid to buy him, now possibly going out on loan to Sheffield United, Palace fans are split on him, the media rate him yet Leeds not interested? Strange one, but I’m like Brighty happy to get Rowe in, as for loans they are alright for cover but we want to build a team for seasons to come, not one season then they go back and we have to find players again or we get stung in wanting to buy them when it’s us that’s made them so much better. I’m happy with what we have but Rowe would be a wonderful addition eh Brighty ??.
08 Aug 2024 05:46:17
Moore, O'Hare, Burrows, Rak Sakyi, Gilchrist, Souttar.
Very good window for Sheff that. I'd be more worried if Wilder wasn't manager, but it is a little troublesome.
08 Aug 2024 06:04:14
What makes you think these players they have bought will all gel within the squad and hit the ground running?
They will I expect have a transitional season and I don’t believe they will be a major threat. Their performance in the Premiership last season was diabolical, I don’t see how they can turn that around so quickly.
08 Aug 2024 06:04:46
At Champo level he will surely excel
No way Sheff U finishing as low as mid table Berma ?.
08 Aug 2024 08:31:14
Dill you’d be less worried if they didn’t have wilder then manager that took them from mid table leauge one to 9th in the prem spending about 5% of what Belisa spent taking leeds from mid table in championship to 9th in the prem?
I don’t understand that at all this m recent history very few have done an achievement of what Wilde did at sheff utd outside of current Ipswich gaffer.
08 Aug 2024 09:45:05
I just don't like him tbf mate ? I genuinely think they'll push us this season given those signings. It should give them a lot of confidence and starting with a fresh slate this season. Last season is in the past.
08 Aug 2024 14:00:35
Berma you do realise your glowing recommendation of. Wilder achievements severely contradicts your mid table prediction
You couldn't make it up lol ?
Confused Berm.
08 Aug 2024 15:38:13
No baz it doesn’t contradict at all. I think wilder did an amazing job but circumstances are different this time round.
A managers class is not defined by his position in the leauge. Outside of clough our best manager was probably terry venables who did awful at leeds despite being brilliant he had a bad hand dealt to him.
Lewis Hamilton is not winning a f1 race in a Skoda.
08 Aug 2024 15:56:08
By end of window Wilder potentially will have a better team/ better players than he had at Sheff Utd in their promotion season 2018/ 19
Yet you somehow have them finishing a lowly mid table?
You are making ZERO sense Berma. ?
A newly relegated EPL team with parachute payments should NOT be finishing mediocre Champo mid table . Wilder would be sacked pronto!
08 Aug 2024 18:00:55
From your silence that evidenty be cheque mate fella.
