Quite surprised by the outpouring of sympathy towards Everton from commentators and pundits alike with their points deduction. Can understand it for the fans but not the club.
They deserve this and they have to simply suck it up. This is what happens when you blatantly break the rules. That goes for any club in the Premiership who thinks they are untouchable.
It’s sets a precedent that needed to be done by the EPL to stop this unfair cheating.
Everton in my estimation are not where they should be and a 10 point deduction is I think quite lenient considering that had this points deduction been delivered at the end of last season, they would now be in the Championship where they belong and Leicester most fairly should right now be in the Premiership.
They are very, very fortunate that they have a lot of games to pull themselves out of the relegation zone.
History shows that teams that court the relegation zone enough times will usually be relegated eventually. Even with all their siege mentality that they will now muster to try and win games, they are still a couple of injury’s to key players like Mykolenko, Doucouré or DCL and they will definitely struggle.
We’ll see if the true justice is served to this club at the end of the season.

Jamie Carragher implying that the supposed unfair points deduction for Everton is down to the unnecessary pressure implied by the likes of Leeds and Leicester. Try telling that to Leicester and Burnley who were both relegated being just directly below them in two separate seasons.

I wouldn’t be so sure of that, although they have had some decent results of late they will have to continue that otherwise the pressure will get stronger and the nerves will take over.

OP Agree with your post but where the authorities have an issue is administration only gets you 9 point deduction. I feel that ought to be higher. 12 for admin seems just. That way 10 points for a breach not leading to admin can receive a lesser penalty. Toffees bound to use argument that they ought to receive a lesser penalty and be "congratulated" for carrying on as a going concern. It's not such a terrible argument meaning the final penalty might only be 8 points (or slightly less) .
