Happy birthday Mr Wilkinson. Built such a brilliant team in the early 90s. And laid the foundations for olearys squad of young lads .

Legend so often overused, possibly insufficient for this amazing man’s achievements ??????.

13 Nov 2023 14:03:53
Arguably LUFCs greatest manager.

13 Nov 2023 14:22:31
Our greatest ever manager… one of the few leeds managers not only to bring success but also over achieve

He was building a team when sacked if only we held our nerve. Imagine Wilko with o dreays team.

Agreed Class . love the man and Super Legend may be more apt. 2nd greatest Leeds United manager ever

Young Alf " The Don " is and always Leeds United greatest manager ever.

Many happy returns to the great Howard. I’m sure he would be the first to say The Don was the greatest Leeds united manager. He assembled a great squad of players, and had a great knowledge of the game. I think Vincent as he called vinnie was only booked a couple of times and never sent off under his tenure great man manager.

Happy Birthday to a top LUFC manager.

Alf No way. Was he great when he sold a Frenchman to our arch enemy causing the purchasing club to revitalize themselves and enjoy sustained success for the next 20 years?

I think if Fotherby and Wilko knew how he turned out to be they probably wouldn’t have literally give him away to Man U.
It was without doubt the biggest bargain in football history.
Having said that Wilko and Cantona did not see eye to eye and there was no doubt about it, one of them had to leave and that wasn’t going to be title winning Wilko.
Mind you it could be said that Wilko wouldn’t have won the title without Cantona?

Fotherby should’ve been more persistant with doing an exchange for Dennis Irwin, even if it took a longer time to achieve it.
The sale was rushed far too quickly, it wasn’t good business.
