Leeds United perhaps need to be a tad more careful in the young players they let go in future.
Imagine if we still had these 3 players in our team/ squad instead of say yes underperforming Gnonto, the mirage that is Firpo and Ayling/ Shackleton
Jack Clarke : top scorer in Championship with 9 goals! .
Leif Davis : top assists with six!
Cody Drameh player of month for Birmingham ( 3rd championship team in a row he is doing very well)
( Yes I know Spence is better than Drameh but no use to Leeds so far as injured) .

Baz I can excuse departures of Clarke and Drameh but selling Davis was particularly dumb.

Said that about jack Clarke.
I spoke to one of the spurs scouts who scouted him while at leeds.
He said the most exciting player at getting fans off there seat since giggs! Which I thought seemed right

it’s a difficult one isn’t it? Leif Davies is the strangest one for me, we have been crying out for a LB and we seem to let a very good one go .
I think dremeh for some reason was just a bad fit at Leeds, he was unlucky when he came on as a sub played out of position at LB and then got subbed off again, seem to signal
The end of his Leeds career .
Clarke for me had those health issues and I think we was probably too quick in selling him yes but we had to let him go to spurs, it didn’t work out and he is rebuilding his career nicely but out of all them Leif Davis was probably the biggest oversight .

We had to sell Clarke because Radz was skint and offers for other players were thin on the ground. Drameh never seemed to want to play for us for some reason but yes Davis a strange one as we have no cover there. Difficult to know who will make it and who won't though and you can't keep everyone.

Nothing to do with hindsight OP . very few at the time were content that Davis was allowed to leave given our LB issues.

Nobody would have said Davis was going to have an upturn in his performances to merit a first team place LB or not. A lot of fans wanted to get rid of Rutter last season, the club certainly saw his potential and invested in his future.
Our biggest loss of a young player was Milner. He was shear class.

Leif Davis looked good when he played " very good Davis " from the man himself Bielsa .
Should have been. givem more game time ; instead they bought Firpo

Baz, Cody was roasted again v saints last weekend, he was also urine the few appearances he made for us this season

Chris can't judge a player on one half
All/ most players get roasted by that Saints winger Sulemana. he is class and fast

This season will tell a lot with Mr Drameh, its easy to be much better2nd half than pure she-ite 1st half, he was woeful, codys gotten other chances with us baz and has not taken them, hence another loan .
Successive mangers can't all be wrong

Chris my lad . Cody like Gnonto wants out of Leeds . so they aren't giving their best when playing for Leeds
ever since Bielsa rinsed Cody in the media . as a result he is running down his contract ( into final year noe )
Cody is proven elsewhere. Cardiff and Luton player of year, promotion to EPL, Birmingham player of month
