Just read an article on Jordan Henderson's move to Saudi Arabia. Graeme Souness basically saying that he's made his bed and has to lie in it especially after all his pro LGBTGRUS whatever it's called.
Nothing to do with Leeds United I know and maybe this has been mentioned before but I'm really interested what you guys think of the whole thing.

Neither. He accepted an amazing economic opportunity. Most of us would do same. Most people can be bought.

I personally think that it was for money. The move for all these ageing stars is not because of the game or the betterment of football. The j league tried it in Japan. The Chinese have tried it. The mls in America have tried it ( more than once) . Now the Saudis are now seeing if they can buy football. But if the fans aren't interested it will fail. The thing with football is the history in the teams. And only the established leagues have that.
You only have to look at the attendance at Hendersons last match. Even Bournemouth get more fans.
Maybe they should be buying crowds instead of players.
