On reflection, first half was good and a good result.
However, the glaring weaknesses are still evident!
We still need a good striker, we still need a top left back.
Rodrigo, don’t get carried away lads he will return to type asap.
I think we will look good with Harrison Aaronson sinisterra behind Bamford or kalimidodar, terrier or whoever we do get to play up top.
Geldhart is a quality talent and will be great but he’s not quite ready yet.

Get off Rodrigo’s back, celebrate his success like he did! It meant a lot to him! Why do you want are own players to fail?
Think a new left back will help strengthen the squad but think this squad will create and score goals!
Pleased for Jimmy, Joffy and Greenwood. Bringing them on at key parts of the game, clearly part of our first team thinking. Build your their minutes.

Spanish, firstly pal don’t tell me what to do! It’s an opinion pal. I have mine you have yours! I don’t rate him you clearly do, that’s your choice. My opinion is based on the fact that he has not delivered for us in 2 years at the club. Again my opinion. I did say it’s a good start a good 3 points, but there are visible weaknesses that still need addressing. There are far better ways of wording your defence of Rodrigo than “get off Rodrigo’s back”.

Swety, give them a scrub and be happy. Agreed Rodrigo has not delivered the last 2 years under the previous coach. Under the new gaffer he has stepped on and had a good pre season, followed up with a good performance today. Merit him on the present and maybe, just maybe, he has turned a corner and worth keeping?

Sweaty, spanishleeds is one of the best posters on this site and only give honest points of view never been one to get on anyone’s back as well. If he thinks that Rodrigo has improved or will do US a
good job this season I doubt he’s far wrong. Let’s all be happy with the team today we have a very good win and 3 points in the bag.
