Been confirmed Lewis Bate is being loaned out to Oxford Utd for the season, to get first team minutes. That club is expected to really push for promotion this season, so hopefully it should be a positive experience for the lad. It’ll be interesting to see whether he’s pitched straight into the action with a start this weekend v Cambridge Utd, as the Us seek to bounce back from narrow defeat in their season opener at Derby. May be more likely to be eased in from the bench.

Obviously no option for Oxford to buy, and there is a recall clause, should that be deemed appropriate in January.

Is there a January recall clause available on Cresswell?
because a diehard Millwall supporter ( not Berm this time ?) is saying 100% there is no recall clause on Cresswell ??

Based on pre season it’ll be Strujk . Recall clauses I think are quite rare so I don’t think we have one for creswell, I never read that at the time there was one.
