Contrary to what I thought before of our weakest position I think the LB is obviously the most pressing. Players who can score goals I think we have enough in the tank but that left back spot is going to be heavily exploited if we don’t find an answer soon.
Heldje does not have enough experience and even with Firpo back will he perform to his potential and will he stay injury free for the rest of the season.?
Philipp Max is a natural LB who shows a good consistency of play and largely stays injury free.
But and there is always a but, van Nistelroy doesn’t want him to be sold and Leeds would have to pay well into double figure millions above his 7/ 8 Mill market value, if, Orta and Marsch were interested in the player.
But, again as I mentioned in my previous post, any player won’t do even though to us they seem to fit the cause, if the player doesn’t fit into Marsch’s plans then don’t buy.

Agree OP
LB recruitment needed more urgently than even CF recruitment . but both definitely needed!
An LB with the key attributes of pace who can actually DEFEND first and foremost ( not bothered so much about his attacking ability or lack of)
Whoever that is he will be far better than what we currently have
Struck NO. at LB he is bad there
Firpo NO full stop he is a disaster
Hjelde ' best 'option at moment
But really need a specialist LB NOW!

A lot of what you say is an alternative valid opinion but do you ever have good happy days?
Can’t remember your position when we got promoted but I’m pretty sure it would have been.
We will be relegated if we don’t spend $200 mill.

Firpo apparently should be back at some point this month so I can see us sticking with the players we have and gambling that he stays fit.

God help LUFC if they are sticking with Firpo
Give it a few more weeks and he will be injured again for the 6th time in a season and a bit.
