I know we like to sign players with injury problems, Qiononas seems to be injury free for 4 season but did miss 300 days due to cruciate ligament injury 2018/ 2019.

Mighty - to be fair, a cruciate ligament injury can take a long time to come back from, and while the injury actually ruled him out from towards the end of the 2018/ 19 season until Feb 2020, as you say, he appears to have had no further injury since then, and having built up his match fitness through the remainder of 2019/ 20, had a full season (both Apertura and Clausura sections) with Tigres, followed by his particularly fruitful season with Atlas.

You know I would actually be OK with this guy being our only striker acquisition as long as the balance we had for CDK and a new LB (say 40 mill total) was used to buy a quality defender like Josko Gvardiol, with him, Struijk and Cresswell back next year we'd be a lot more solid at the back.

?? I can see us upgrading central defence next summer but as for Josko think his asking price is going to be closer to £85M and he'll have CL sides circling.

He's rated way less than that on transfermarkt which has fair current market prices for our recent acquisitions and sales.
I agree he can play top level, but last time he turned us down was as he didn't think he was ready for premier league, I hope he doesn't think he's ready for top level champions league yet and we have a chance to be a stepping stone to that ?.

Yes Baz, apparently it’s expected to in that kind of ballpark if he has a decent season, as his new contract will supposedly have a fairly high release clause, given they’d already rejected a number of offers above €60m during last season. Another decent season would be expected to increase his value and increase the number of clubs interested in him.

Gvardiol is way out of our price range. Paper talk saying Leipzig want at least £80m for him. Plus he's playing CL football. Literally no chance we could A. Afford him or B. He'd want to come.
