Not very often I have posted a negative post but I am very disappointed on 2 points at the CDK debacle. Firstly putting all your eggs in one basket is never a good idea as has been proved because as we have waited and waited for the inevitable no, we have now been left in no striker man's land. Leeds have just been used as a pawn in a very untidy game, we have ended up looking very silly. Secondly, why would any top class striker with anything about them want to come to Leeds now? I mean, would you be happy at being second or even third choice? I know I wouldn't and who is now available a week before the season?, and because it's nearly the first game of the season and they know we are now desperate as it's been well documented, you can guarantee it will be at an inflated price! What promised to be a stress free summer transfer window has now turned a tad farcical. So sorry Brighty, Alf, OP, Class, Cluey, George and others who live in hope like me but I'm very disappointed and after a fantastic start, let's hope Victor has it in his locker! MOT ????.

Woody all pre season long a few of us were told yet again we haven't an idea on how things are,
Pile. up on hopefuls but totally ignore the biggest problem we have is somehow where the smart money is .
A week before kick off and no goal scorer, it defies comprehension that we spent this amount of time on him, rather than moving on and integrating the next choice into the team .
Now when the inevitable happens, we will be told " it takes time " to gel with his new team mates so that's why we ain't scoring goals .
Seriously is it really that hard for some. on here to see how this would play out?

We all get disheartened Woody but don't forget a lot of this was paper talk and although it doesn't seem like it ATM we have to hope that was all bull and we have actually secretly been working on other targets. OR Bamford stays fit, Joffy and Greenwood have breakthrough seasons and come May we will all be wondering why we ever wanted to waste money on that position. Keep the faith. What other choice do we have? ?.

Radz spent nowt net in this window and taking Leeds into a bottom 3 or 4 R battle season AGAIN!
Leeds dubious involvement in CDK farcical saga of 2 months startong to feel like a ruse for not signing a striker at all and not spending any money at all net.
Chris not signing a LB in the past weeks since Firpo being out equally lamentable with just 7 days to EPL season
JM will be Radz and Orta fall guy by November.

Hang on a minute Baz! I never said I was transferring to the dark side did I? Lol ? I just had a little blip that’s all and thankfully Alf has restored the faith in me ??thanks Alf.
In all honesty though Baz and Chris I do get what you’re saying but I still think we have a better team than last season with a better strategy with JM installing a new belief in the team We have made good signings but I just wish we had signed a striker sooner but it’s like Alf said, maybe it is all paper talk and maybe we do have someone lined up or even Joffy, Bamford and Perkins/ Greenwood are the answer? Who knows eh.
So sorry guys and in those famous words of Maggie Thatcher (changed a little) “This man is not for turning” lol cheers Chris and Baz and thanks Alf my saviour ????.

I feel a long hard season again. We should have signed a top striker as a priority when season ended who had been identified for whichever division we were in this season. Bamford not prolific and not fully fit yet. Gelhardt must start surely?
We must beat teams like Wolves at home this season.

No decent striker would come unless we solved our midfield and overall supply issue. That inevitably took some time. We obviously got close with kettle man. Kalimoomoo insufficient calibre in my opinion. Orta ought to be presenting us with Martin Terrier. Don't know why he hasn't sorted him out yet.

I honestly feel that I must get up in the morning, go out of the door and see a different world than some of the posters! We have goals in this team, Bamford can’t be judged by last year, nor can Joffy or Greenwood. I think Harrison, who is still here, will score more goals and the defence with chip in more! Give the guys a chance. And we will have a new striker, but he has to be a lot better than what we e got or not worth it! No competitive ball has been kicked yet and some people have given up! Crazy!

Bang on Spanish! I’m so glad you’re back on here posting, thus bringing back balance to the force! Are you the chosen one?
As always I’m definitely overly optimistic about the season ahead, but feel the forthcoming young player breakthroughs we will see this season will be the defining factor in the period ahead. It’s going to be a good season, in line with managed expectations. i. e. mid table comfort.

Not what we are saying Spanish, of course we are hoping for the best and wishing the lads well for season .
It's the lack of a striker we are bemoaning, that +length of time taken . The words I type here doesn't effect my day to day life ???, I just have a say on here .
And right now it's lack of #9 irking me . Paddy + Bam bam will not score enough to keep us out of the bottom 6 this season IMO.
