It’s a 85-90% ok-ish starting line up, when we need to be 100%. Klich, Gelhardt, Greenwood useful off the bench. But… We need that LB and Striker signed up. We don’t want another start like last year.
Orta must’ve summat lined up at LB… he wouldn’t a let Davis go… the striker… we’ll know this week if CDK finally dead… then move for Terrier who is an absolute baller.

Looks pretty solid but poor attacking wise, I stand to be corrected but absolutely zero creativity and no killer ball.
Fingers crossed for an opening day 3 pointer and Orta gets some more bodies in before then.

I think the replacement for Leif Davis will be with another youngster, a one for the future left back like the young Real Madrid lad Guttierez. I can’t see them slashing out 20 Mil for a new left back when we have Firpo. Whatever we think of Firpo now it looks like the board want to stick with him for now.
The suggestions of buying Taylor back stinks of rotten eggs, he is simply not good enough for our team.
The striker is more important from my perspective, you don’t win games without scoring goals! and I don’t trust Bamford to not get a long term injury, again.

Aus - you seem to have been watching different games those who provide player ratings and the many and various YouTube Leeds content creators, as they have generally been impressed by Aaronson’s performances. I’ve also watched all the preseason games, and would play him rather than Klich or Greenwood - and I’d have Joffy playing anyway, rather than Bamford.

Agree with Clueless on Aaronson impressed with his progress and would definitely be a starter. Joffy to start for me too he seems more clinical. Paddy is great at hold up but we need someone more clinical.

Aus definitely had upside down view of the CP game, mate. Aaronson our most lively forward for me. Was our pivot man in the centre of the park till Sinisterra came off then caused loads of probs down the right connecting well with ex team mate Kristensen… of course you were in Aus… so maybe we got it upside down. (It’s all a perspective thing, I guess ;-)

This one is for my pal Woody and the other Radz cheerleaders of alleged fiscally prudent Radz
In summer of 2021 there were numerous reports of Radz trying to buy a 2nd club ( a club in Italy )
Do you think Woody and co this has any link to Radz subsequent lessened spending at Leeds
Radz spending very little in summer window 2021 and nothing at all in Jan 2022 window
And again Radz and co have NOT spent a penny NET on transfers this window.

P. S. Any news anyone on stadium expansion and takeover by 49ers? Seems to have gone very quiet on that by Radz, Marathe, Kinnear et al.

The 49er’s will definitely be taking over Leeds, they wouldn’t have invested in their 40 odd percent in Leeds if they weren’t.
You can already see that Radz is also investing heavily on the American interest with US players, coach and probably with his media corporation within the US.
The rumour is that there is already a rapidly expanding American Leeds fan base gathering momentum, I think I have a pretty good idea what our owner is trying to achieve.
I say good luck to him so long as it’s in the interests of Leeds Utd and not just his bank account of course.
