Call me crazy but have a feeling Brighton will be dragged down the table this season. They've lost Bissouma and not replaced him and looks like Cucurella is going to Citeh.
Those are two massive players to lose without any replacements.
Brighton have always struggled to score a lot too, and are primarily built on a solid defence. Losing Bissouma, who shielded their defenders and Cucurella, who's a world class LB, is only going to hurt their goals against tally this season.
I anticipate them shipping more goals and not scoring much this coming season, ultimately dropping points and tumbling down the table.
I think they made a mistake selling Ostigard as well. Had a quality season in Serie A last year.

Dillinger - sadly, I feel your prediction re Brighton tumbling down the table is unlikely to come true.
One transfer that went a little under the radar in January was their signing of striker Denis Undav from Belgian sister club, Union SG. Under the terms of the transfer, Undav stayed with Union until the end of the season, with his 25 goals and 10 assists in 33 games helping them top the Jupiler League by 5 points in the regular season - though the title went to Club Brugge through the 4-team Championship play-off which followed.
Undav will be with Brighton this season and, even allowing for a little drop-off I in output, seems likely to help their goal tally significantly.

Is anyone else becoming a little concerned that Radz, Orta, Leeds actually fail to even sign a striker (s) this window?
. they look like missing out on all their current striker targets. getting a striker, a top player over the line remains a big challenge.

Baz Patience. We ain't about to move on a striker until Thursday when the CDK AC Milan saga comes to conclusion one way or other. We may still get him.

Indeed George. And whilst we’ve been linked with a number of other strikers, it is possible that we are working on options we are not aware of - we knew nothing of our interest in Raphinha or Sinisterra until they were in the bag. Sinisterra subsequently revealed that he’d known of our interest for some time.

I've been keeping tack of Undav, Clu. Good point re: goals scored. I do still think losing two defensive rocks will hurt Brighton all the same. I probably worded it too strongly, but what I meant was I do expect them to finish lower this season.
And correct Baz, I said we'd finish around 12-13. Brighton finished 9th. I see them finishing below mid table as things stand. Hope that makes sense, lol.
And regurgitating about not having yet signed a striker won't make us sign one any quicker. Just need some patience. Buying quality players takes time to negotiate. Lots of moving parts.

I will be shocked and surprised if Leeds don’t find a striker, Bamford without doubt is injury prone and all that weight, even though he is a great talent, shouldn’t rest on Gelhardt alone. Apparently Leeds are offering a substantially higher price for CDK than Milan, but the rumours are always sadly conflicting.
These are the problems of trying to buy players, it’s not always about the money, there is the prestige plus the Champions League that can affect a players desire of where he wants to go.
Patience must prevail, quality strikers are very expensive the decision making has to be right.
