Calciomercato reporting that AC Milan have agreed terms with CDK, so our offer may now be dead in the water.

Kalimuendo now our top priority according to Daily Mail. With the arrival of Hugo Ekitike at PSG it appears Kalimuendo has ultimately slipped down their pecking order so is definitely a viable option for us right now. He's a player I'd welcome. Knows where the net is (13 goals in 38 apps last season) and he has a very similar playing style to Luis Suarez. Young, dynamic and plenty of first team experience over the past two seasons. He'd be a great buy, but also a great investment too given the above.

I'm still a big fan of Lukas Nmecha and would love to see us go for him. German international who came from the Citeh youth team set up. Plies his trade at Wolfsburg, who missed out heavily on European football, so they may be open to selling and him open to a move to the Prem. He'd be a real marquee signing if we could get him for £20-25m. 11 goal involvements in 31 games last season, including 5 champions league games. He's an unreal player who's proven himself capable of performing in the league and on international duty after gaining regular first team football last season.

Agree terms with CDK or with Brugge?

Personal terms with CDK, alleged to be 41k pw. And AC are upping their offer imminently to Brugge to get the deal through.

I watched this striker from NYCFC (MLS) He is a goal machine! scored 5 in last 3 games. Surly we can get him! Could be another cheap Gem IMO.

Doesn't appear we are in for Castellanos anymore. Not heard anything for a month.

We have wasted 2 months on CDK!

Hooksie is the same wasted MO. also happened previously with RDP, Noa Lang etc.

Dillinger - a Madrid-based journo who apparently focuses on the MLS is reporting that Castellanos favours a loan move to Girona, the City Group club in Spain, which gained promoted to La Liga for the coming season, in order to test his mettle in Europe.

Just saw Fabrizio Romano report something similar, Clu.

Hooksie, Baz, you do realise not every offer or enquiry results in a transfer don't you? Sometimes the hard graft chasing quality players pays off, sometimes it doesnt. Doesn't mean we shouldn't try.

On to the next one.

OK fair comment Dill.
