Know it's only a friendly but why put Harrison at left back. He should never be considered to play there even if he can.
I'd rather James or anybody play at left back than Harrison.
Clearly they are seeing if they need to buy back up for firpo.
Let's use one of our top scorers in defence. Nice one.

Agreed Aus
Top scorer Harrison at LB!

If the Manager wants to try him there, why not today? A long time ago, but Terry Cooper was a Left Winger and The Don tried him at Left Back and we all know how that turned out.

These things are always going to be tried in pre season friendlies, and why not? He could turn out to be a great left back, and with undoubtedly more scoring boots in the squad, and yet to come in, who is to say it’s not a stroke of genius, before he’s even played there yet!?
Just another case of “Ready? Shoot! Aim! ” Negativity before a ball is kicked! ?.

There are plenty of other players you can try there.
But not Harrison. Why would you?
And whose to say any of those players on the pitch tonight can out score or assist him.
Tactically it’s a moronic decision. Friendly or no.

Everyone says we should get Aliioski in as cover at Left Back. He came to us as a winger.

They said it was an experiment and I'm pretty sure it failed.

Maybe it’s Jesse showing the management we need a left back. He’s already publicly said it’s under review. Maybe just adding that bit of extra pressure to them.

If it worked or not, no harm done. The Manager must have had his reason for doing it. As for Alioski, he didn't come as a LB, but didn't make a bad fist of it, so back on a Free would do for me.
