Since Leeds and Barcelona have now come to an agreement over Raphinha, the reports now vary that his payment package is anything between 49 to 75 Million and is that pounds or euros?
Does anyone know what the truth is because 20 odd million whether it be pounds or euros is a huge difference.
I still find it hard to believe that Barcelona actually have this amount of money to spend.
Perhaps the installment plan pans over many many years, or decades!

Will there be any other club that sells its star asset ( or indeed any player) for. a fee to Brokealona in the next 2 windows?
I doubt it.
I REALLY hope I am wrong but it feels like a deal. of absolute lunacy to be even dealing with and selling to Barcelona . expect the worst of payment terms and the lowest of base fees that may never be rven partly paid.
An utterly weak LUFC ownership and dumb bad deal.

Baz you need to get on TalkSPORT with O’Hare and Dodgy Durham, they are in total agreement with you. We will be relegated and our owners are really weak and we have signed a £100M of nobody’s, oh and yes JM will be sacked! Bad times ahead for Leeds United I’m afraid, I mean we buy a player for £17M 2 years ago and we sell him for £49 to £55M, I mean come on that’s terrible business eh! Also sold because no matter what we did he wanted to go just like KP so bad move all around as we should keep players who really don’t want to play for us! I’m just looking forward to next season when the fixtures are out for the Championship, I wonder who we will get first, Blackpool, Millwall, Reading! Totally fed up of all this drivel before the season has even started, best transfer window for years, we all wanted signings and we have them, no loans no overage has beens, just quality young signings so for gods sake stop the constant doom and gloom and slating. Baz - try thinking of something positive to say about our Club for once - it’s bad enough having the muppets on Talksport and elsewhere in the media doubling down on their Leeds in real relegation bother without Raphinha and KP agenda without having your relentless daily diatribe on here - apparently choosing only to be ‘informed’ by reports etc which throw shade on our Club.
It is clear Raphinha wanted to go to Barca, just as KP wanted to go to Citeh. Raphinha could have soft-pedaled to the end of the season and seen us relegated - and within a week he could have been at Barcelona for his £25m release clause (and KP at Citeh for a similar figure) - while we were contemplating life once more in the EFL, and a potential fire sale of our other better players, with the Saudi humbugs and others feasting vulture-like on the carcass of our Club.
But no, Raphinha dug in and dug us out of a very big hole. It would seem that in recognition of that, the Club have been content to facilitate his dream move to Barcelona while trying to get as much as they were able to out of that bankrupt organisation. It is clearly going to be difficult to squeeze more money out of any buying club when the agent has made it patently obvious that the player has his heart set on a move there.
You might also consider that having our two best players getting their dream moves could help Orta convince very promising players come to us - illustrating that, should they come to us, they will be given the opportunity to play to their best ability and prove themselves in the toughest league, and if our trajectory isn’t keeping up with theirs, they will then have an opportunity to get a dream move elsewhere.
With regards to the other clubs that were in for Raphinha, Arsenal are not in the Champions League, he would have not been certain of sufficient game time at Spurs and why would Raphinha have moved to Chelsea, having been made aware and reminded constantly that Leeds fans hate the “Chelsea sc*m” - plus Deco hated his time with that club and doubtlessly told him so, repeatedly.

I don’t listen to TalkSPORT Baz I just read the comments made on a website this morning. I’m just sick of the likes of those two idiots plus Collymore, Mills, Fowler, Robinson and the rest spreading so much negativity about us, especially annoyed with those doing it who LUFC paid a good living to! It’s just so not needed. It’s like the question this morning about Harrison at left back, so what, it’s a friendly when we have the chance to try these things, we might not get a signing over the line in the next couple of weeks so he might just be needed, who knows? What I do know is that after watching the relief from our owner and others when we avoided relegation by the skin of our teeth I’m sure he’s not going to let that happen again! So let’s try things new, let’s mix it up a bit, after all you all said MB was only one dimensional with no plan B and now some are critical about someone trying out plans a, b, and c. Please just give them a chance before the negative floods ???.

Some on Talk Sport have their anti Leeds views I think mainly because we have the most passionate fans it gets a good response and increases listeners and comments on FB etc. proof of this is that we are talking about it.
Totally agree with Woody and Clue we had little choice
Personally it looks like a good window especially if we bring in a Striker. We won’t find out for sure until the season gets going but our over reliance on two players is not a healthy way to run a club.

Baz - in answer to your question, I spend quite a lot of time in the kitchen and need something mindless to listen to whilst in there, and Talksport fits the bill. When the numpties start on about Leeds I tend to switch off for a while, but it takes a few seconds to get across to the radio to physically turn it off - then when checking through media reports on Leeds, I get to see some clickbait journos referencing what the numpties said after I’d stopped listening.
