Firpo remains gash defensively ; 5th injury since he has been at Leeds; an absolute waste of money
The possible silver lining to his latest injury is that hopefully it forces the club to actively search and recruit a very much needed LB alternative asap.

Please explain 'remains gash defensively ', do we know how he got injured?, not played a competitive match, so we don't were he was in regards ability?, negativity against our players isn't nice when we haven't even started the season.

Richie. Firpo had 24 chances ( games) last season and failed to impress in any of them. How many ' chances 'do you want to give him?
From what I saw of him in the pre season friendly against lowly opposition he played well going forward not so much defensively
Anyway the guy is out AGAIN (for whatever reason)
Just get a LB who can actually defend and plays 38 matches.

Let’s be honest he ain’t been great. But he had such a stop start season and now another injury. I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

Firpo has admitted that he had a very below than average season with us, probably as a result of his injury problems he can’t recover properly, but I still would like to see if he can turn that around. Sadly I now feel that after this recent injury it’s looking more like that he is injury prone rather than bad luck.
There is a reason why Barcelona wanted to offload him. I am beginning to lose patience with Firpo’s injury record as much as I am with Bamford’s.
What good is a player if he spend most of his time on the treatment table?
