Firpo already out for 8 weeks and we haven't even started. Was he this bad at Barcelona with injuries? Get Alioski back on a Free.

Firpo remains gash defensively ; 5th injury since he has been at Leeds; an absolute waste of money

The possible silver lining to his latest injury is that hopefully it forces the club to actively search and recruit a very much needed LB alternative asap.

Please explain 'remains gash defensively ', do we know how he got injured?, not played a competitive match, so we don't were he was in regards ability?, negativity against our players isn't nice when we haven't even started the season.

Richie feel free to recount Firpos strengths ( and weaknesses)

Feel free to explain remains gash defensively, unless you of course have been part of leeds pre season training
Give the guy a chance,

Richie. Firpo had 24 chances ( games) last season and failed to impress in any of them. How many ' chances 'do you want to give him?

From what I saw of him in the pre season friendly against lowly opposition he played well going forward not so much defensively

Anyway the guy is out AGAIN (for whatever reason)

Just get a LB who can actually defend and plays 38 matches.

No guarantee of any player at all avoiding injuries Baz. The fella hasn’t done it on purpose!?!?

So LAST season, and 1 match,
Image if every player who struggled in first season was bummed of after 1 meaningless friendly.

{Ed014's Note - that’s harsh, getting bummed just because you’re not playing well!

Let’s be honest he ain’t been great. But he had such a stop start season and now another injury. I wouldn’t write him off just yet.

13 Jul 2022 21:31:28
' Let's be honest he ain't been great ' blooming heck a sentence from Corky I actually concur with . goodness gracious me ?.

Firpo has admitted that he had a very below than average season with us, probably as a result of his injury problems he can’t recover properly, but I still would like to see if he can turn that around. Sadly I now feel that after this recent injury it’s looking more like that he is injury prone rather than bad luck.
There is a reason why Barcelona wanted to offload him. I am beginning to lose patience with Firpo’s injury record as much as I am with Bamford’s.
What good is a player if he spend most of his time on the treatment table?
