Genuinely think Leeds fans needed this window . Fresh faces and a new optimism . Bielsa will always go down in history getting us back up to the prem and an amazing first season in the prem but yes last season showed we desperately needed a change of direction . Jesse seems positive the signings seem positive . Can't wait for the season to start .

Agtee to a certain extent but a good start will be imperative for JM and LUFC
As for the window it is NOT yet
a good one until 3 further player positions are signed
1.) we must sign a striker as we have NOT improved our goal threat (enough)
2) We also desperately need a LB and
3) an experienced GK.

Optimistic.
Def need a bang em in striker. Will need to budget up to $40m for one I reckon.
Still leaves a bit of dosh for lb first and finally a goalkeeper.
We pretty much made do with mez for 2 seasons so although one is needed. Not as much as other two. Personally think we will buy all three.
As I’ve said before. Don’t want to upset the apple cart too much.
Still need that core although I’m pretty sure the newbies will be confident and motivated to play as a team. Only time will tell if they have the talent needed.

Baz - we will definitely be bringing in a new CF, and rumours have it that we are likely to bring in an experienced GK, and that a new LB is not totally ruled out.
However, I’d be interested to know how you would categorise this window if only the CF addition is made.

Clu in answer to your question it could not be deemed a 'good enough one'
LB is an Achilles heel. Recruitment of a first team LB is essential
We have one LB
Firpo who is 1) . not good enough defensively 2) . very injury prone
Laid Davis couldn't make it in Championship
Struick is a CB not a LB
Hjelde is supposedly a CB but possibly could be a decent back up at LB but a new LB signing is definitely desirable
An experienced GK is needed . don't rate Klaessen . don't rate Meslier that much either.

Personally the LB option should be loan, with poss option to buy, no one knows how Firpo will do this season and IMO deserves a chance, Davis is another who may get a chance, and no one knows what level Dallas will be on his return from injury, again neecs to be given a chance

I like firpo. I think he will come good and you can see from club vids how well he and Harrison get on.
Let’s hope marsch can get him more defensively aware cause he is great going forward. But do need back up.
Think the criticism of him a bit unfair.

Unfair Aus! 75%of the goals this season will come from Firpo's side. Teams will target him constantly.

Firpo does get caught square on occasion, but I think what compounded his woes last season was our inability to keep the all in midfield when we attacked. Wed lose the ball and Firpo got caught halfway up the pitch a fair few times. Can't see us being half as loose with passes this season given our signings in midfield, giving Firpo an opportunity to look much improved and more positionally aware. I'm happy to give him and Davis a go this season and see how they fare.
CF and experienced GK are a necessity for me. We do need goals and Meslier will only go from strength to strength with someone experienced pushing him to do better.
