Having considered Phillips's position, cannot forgive him. We have had plenty of badge kissing Judases in our time from Kewell to Howson and the Frenchman whose name I can never bring myself to say. This club has made him an England regular and a well paid one at that. Personally I hope he does an Alan Smith! I know this is controversial but as our greatest player said "side before self every time" Enjoy the money Kalvin, Granny Val will be sooo proud.

To bring his dead nan into the convo is pretty disgusting and I’m disappointed we have fans such as you.

27 Jun 2022 23:35:05
So you want him to win a EPL winner ? medal ? and break a bone ? causing a 9 month injury ?? Charming ?.

27 Jun 2022 23:38:04
A bit harsh re KP.

The board should have bought a plethora of quality players last summer window to push on from 9th place finish; they didn't do so. therefore one perhaps should not begrudge KP moving on ( to Citeh)

Mate chill out Christ.

28 Jun 2022 06:22:46
It’s uncalled for mate, KP has been a good servant to the club. So in that list why wouldn’t you put Leeds legend Gary Speed.?
One man one club is extremely rare and certainly doesn’t happen these days.

Call yourself a Leeds fan. Someone delete his profile please. Smh.

KP has earned his move and I for one hope it goes well for him. He played at my local junior side as a kid. He deserves this opportunity and it's one I can stomach given how loyal he's been and how important he's been for us over the past 4 seasons. Obviously would have loved him to stay but if Citeh come knocking he has an opportunity to progress with England and win major trophies, never mind the extra money that comes with it. He hasn't done Leeds dirty, we got a fair price for him and he's represented us well in his time with us. We move on.

Bringing someone's dead nan up to try make a poorly informed point is really scraping the barrel and you should be ashamed of yourself.

Really don't get why people are so upset that KP is moving on, it's a fact of life in football! Get out of the mindset that he is in some way a traitor. Who out there wouldn't take the opportunity to move on to better job and financial reward if it presented itself? . Do we care about another club or it's fans when we sign one of its players. Yes some players leaving may leave a bitter taste if they down tools etc to get a move, but KP deserves the chance of winning trophies and every fair minded fan should wish him well. KP served us well, now time for others to wear the Leeds shirt.

Ridiculous original post, grow up and get out more. Players come and go. Deal with it.

28 Jun 2022 08:45:13
You are living in the last Andy eagles . Football is different now . Nobody should begrudge Phillips with a move . He’s a man with a family and it’s a job .

28 Jun 2022 10:38:31
Clickbait alert from Andy64 lads me finks .

AndyE - I agree with other respondents above, unsurprisingly. The Club gave KP the opportunity to leave for the Prem after we’d lost the play-off semi, but he turned it down, to stay and help us back into the Prem. Don’t know why you begrudge him the opportunity to play under Pep, in a system very close to that used by Bielsa and will therefore enable him to play to the best of his ability. Yes, this Club, and Bielsaball in particular, ‘made’ him an England player, as you say, but it could be argued that the strains of Bielsaball matches and training also broke him - and moving to Citeh, where he’s likely to be heavily rotated, thereby reducing the risk of further muscle strain injury and possibly prolonging his career.

There is a chance that he may return to Leeds after a spell at Citeh, becoming more of a squad player perhaps. I for one would welcome him back, particularly if the proceeds of his and Raphinha’s sale are well enough invested to set us on a path for European football in a few years time, and perhaps (we can dream) KP can bring Haaland back home with him, having both topped up their bank balances and trophy cabinets to their hearts’ content whilst with Citeh.

Clues. Bang right! I’d love to see Kal back in a Leeds shirt, in a similar to way to when Batts came back.

28 Jun 2022 20:04:25
Glad we're all unanimous on this lads ?.

Eagles (sounds more like a Palace moniker) looks like a definite WUM to me. Ignore.
