This is merely expressing a point rather than a judgment. Although on the surface each one of our new signings looks pretty decent and most of us have seen their you tube highlights etc.
However, none of these players so far signed are proven in the Premiership, as much as Koch, Llorente and Rodrigo all looked pretty decent signings from their respective leagues.
Non of these three players have really shined so far for us and they were internationals when they arrived, not any more.
I really do hope our new signings adapt quickly and prove to be great recruitments, I also hope that our players recruited previously begin to prove their talents in the very demanding Premiership league, as I do believe it can be a difficult transition for some players.

I agree opt. Promising but not proven.
I was expecting so me transfer activity this window.
So if we do sell both the boys I would also expect two to three top class 30 to 40 mill replacement starters.

It’s not Orta’s way to go out and make a marquee signing, he prefers to look the lesser known diamond in the rough which is a gamble.
If Raph and KP do both depart this summer then maybe the funds will be substantial enough to bring in at least one top quality player, preferably a goal scorer.

I am feeling underwhelmed by 3 of our signings of 2020 and likewise 2022 although I have a feeling tne Danish right back will be a good signing.
Have doubts about sicknote Bamford so absolutely imperative signing quality goalscoring players it will define how good our season will be.

We will only pay over 20m for a platter from one of the top leagues but we are now following the RB model of trying to sign players under 24, develop them and then sell for profit. If KP and / or Raph goes I can certainly seeing us spending 30m on a player but we haven't ever spent more than that. I share your concerns OP its great to see us bringing players in I just worry about the quality. Let's hope they turn out to be Raphs and not casillas.

I think the RB lad will be awesome, as will Brendan. The Bayern lad I know very little about! Fingers crossed on all fronts!
