It seems that dan James is another player that only plays his best for his country or one particular league team. Robbie Keane springs to mind. Robbie Fowler Billy Sharp? I don't rate Jams although he was lively, if too mouthy, last night.

A tad unfair
Maybe his very best was for his country but he still played very well for most of his clubs Wolves Coventry, Leeds (decent scoring record of about 12 goals in 40 odd games) Spurs and LA Galaxy.

Minamino ( 4 league cup goals against tbe mighty Preston and Norwich etc lol ) is playing for the best or second best team that scores goals by the sack full.

Richie fine Minamino is more than decent
and can score goals for the ( one of ) the most prolific goalscoring teams ever in Liverpool ( against the likes of Preston and Norwich) ??.

Preston and Norwich were the exact teams Pablo was scoring against and become a club legend. You can only score against the teams in front of you baz.

Hopefully James will be a better asset for us if played regularly in his more natural position? Discipline does seem to be an issue for him though so that needs to improve.

Minamino had a great season considering how much game time he got.

Minamino got a goal every 101 mins played for Liverpool, Salah every 127 mins and that no doubt includes all those penalties!
