So here's my take, and please remember it's only my opinion and open for discussion! News that Harrison is wanted by Newcastle, well I don't think it would be that bad a move if he was sold, he's had a lot of no shows this season and some very bad games although some good ones that helped us but I think he reached his peak with Bielsa and we have to many wingers! Raph will be going and fair enough, he does sulk a bit and he's very volatile but in the same breath a complete game changer but he's Barcelona bound so get him gone and use the money wisely! Then there is one of our own KP, he is one I don't want to see go but, another one who I think has reached his peak at Leeds but if he went to Liverpool he is a player that could develop a lot like Milner, I really don't want him to go but would it be that bad? especially again if we use this money wisely! Roberts and Firpo need to go but unfortunately the latter is in JM's plans, so where we go with that god only knows! If we could get around the £150 Million mark for Raph, KP, Harrison and the £2.00 we get for Roberts we could put that to really good signings, with Summerville, Helde, Cresswell, Dramah, Sam, and Joffy complementing the mix. Maybe it's time for the big change, new faces, new era and quite possibly great times ahead for us all. It will be sad to see some go but it could do is the world of good. 👍👍 I'm up for a fantastic new season with good quality signings, I think the future is bright for the mighty whites 🤞✊✊.

I think Harrison has been one of our better players and with a better midfield and supply would have done even better. If we sell at all I would expect £50mil or more based on his goals, abilities and age. Personally I would hold on to him.

Bit ambitious to think we'll get £2 for Roberts.

Woody - the Club hierarchy have previously said they want to follow the Leicester model. Leicester’s approach has only seen one major departure each season since 2016/ 17 - being Kante, Drinkwater, Mahrez, Maguire, Chilwell - with no-one significant being sold this last season, though Wes Morgan retired.

This is a sensible approach, with the funds raised for these major players being reinvested to bring quality replacements and reinforcement elsewhere within the squad, while minimising any disruption to the squad dynamics etc.

Allowing both Raphinha and KP to go this summer wouldn’t be following that model. While many have pointed to KP not being as effective in Marsch’s preferred narrow formation, Jesse has said that his coming here for the last 12 games (rather that in the summer as he’d have preferred) has enabled him to better understand what is necessary to be successful next season, and I’m hoping this means he’s realised that more width is required- as was done in the first match (which we should have won at Leicester) and last 2.

Selling Harrison in addition would mean losing our top 2 scorers from this season. When you consider that the Club may well be open to offers on Rodrigo (which many supporters would welcome) , who was our 3rd top scorer, and that Atalanta are apparently interested in James (4th top scorer and top for assists) , we could be looking at a major disruption to the squad. Yes, we would see replacements - though not necessarily like for like positionally - depending on formation/ tactics - but with necessary other additions to upgrade on some aging squad members etc it would likely take quite a while to build relationships/ understandings on the pitch etc.

Significant changes are needed, but the Club really need to focus on upgrading where the current squad is weak, while not losing too many of its strengths.

{Ed001's Note - Leicester also completely ignored FFP regs while in the Championship to build a Prem squad before they got promoted. Leeds are not in that position and need to invest first to be competitive before they can run like Leicester did.}

Woody, Harrisons goal returns are improving each season. you don't sell a proven EPL 8 to 10 goals (when he has at least 3 years left on his contract ) a season player when you are a team struggling to score goals.

Just read that Barcelona want to loan Raph with the option to buy. Either they are crazy or we will be if we agree to that!

Every player has a price. To me Harrison very inconsistent although I must admit his goal scoring record very good this season and even last. Spurs bid over 40 mill and were that cash to be reinvested it’s a no brainier. The lads a good player and I’d be happy if he stayed but with all his talent he should be offering so much more on a weekly basis.

Harrison is 'consistent ' on the most important things : scoring and assisting goals ( 16 in total last season 12 this season) which kept Leeds from the abyss of R

Why sell a proven performer and with the extra risk of his replacement not producing? 🤔.

Excellent posts in this thread. Harrison must stay unless truly silly money come in such as £50M+. Cluey, I think selling both Raph and KP the right move. They both leave simultaneously but we ought to be £135M better off.

Your probably right Baz. He does frustrate me at times but the stats are decent.
