Irrespective of who is and isn’t to blame, the league table never lies and we will get our just rewards come Sunday afternoon, although for some strange inexplicable reason I have a hunch we’re going to escape?

Truth be told Everton spent £500 mill and have just squeaked their escape, which has nothing to do with their manager turning it around and all to do with having Mina and most importantly Calvert-Lewin back and scoring again.

Would have been interesting to have had Bam Bam for our run in, but just wasn’t to be.

We also haven’t bucked the trend in performing so badly in that normally a minimum of two promoted sides are joined by another team (possibly ourselves) usually one with less than three years duration in the league.

Think both Bournemouth and Fulham will once again be fighting for relegation with a. n. other side……next season.

Exceptional Managers can bridge the money gap (Moyes, Viera, Potter) but it’s not usually sustainable without significant investment.

And the gap, need gets bigger every year, to the point when it will be Ineos Uk fighting BP United such will be the level of investment required.

I don’t know (like the rest of us) why we didn’t buy reinforcements in January but it’s looking the main reason for our current situation,

I’ve said before I believe Bielsa (plus 50% win ratio) would have secured us the necessary points and I know which manager I’d want to bounce us back at first time of asking if we go down.

Really not a dig at JM he seems a really good guy, just feel he’s a little out of his depth at this level.

Cannot stand EPL and it’s money first mentality runs the risk of making the league as exciting as F1 (minus bending of the rules for tv)

Of course I want my team to play to the highest level, although I fear watching the Bielsa days will now be the pinnacle of my supporting my beloved Leeds, a very sobering thought indeed.

However what does excite me (if relegated) is to wipe the slate clean even it means selling our jewels and building a team with the likes of Cresswell as our skipper Joffy scoring for fun and if possible playing as exciting brand of football that we saw in our promotion year.

We’re actually very fortunate we Eve had some magical times and parachute payments should at least guarantee our future, something not every club can be sure of just look at Derby.

Brentford spent how much and when?

Here to parachute payment and sales. Should splash out about min $200 mill this summer.

Similar to us Aus and before buying Ericksen we’re also in the more, let’s see if they get ninth as in our first year, and as importantly next season?

If ever there was a clear indication of life at the bottom in the bargain basement….

Hmm so Class of 92 ( or should that be renamed Class of 2022 )

where does the superb achievement of Leeds United being crowned League Champions playing very entertaining winning football 6 1 against Sheff Wed
5 1,4 1, 4 nil victories etc
74 goals scored

under Sgt Wilko in 1992

rate in your ' pinnacle ' of supporting our beloved Leeds United.

Burnley and us threatening legal action for their 3 year losses being 200mill above the ffp limit. they blame c.v., but why aren’t the rest of us losing just as much because of c.v.?
Fat Franks seems to find corruption, where he has been or goes! 🤣🤣🤣.

You’ve asked me this before Baz,

But I’ll repeat my reply, Wilko remains my hero as my site name and avatar shows. However, for ME, the football played by Bielsa teams was the most exciting I’ve seen by a Leeds side, it was also (at the time, the full press) groundbreaking in the championship.

First season in epl ninth incredible achievement similar to Moyes that season, we were everyone’s second favourite team.

But injuries derailed the juggernaut, not certain who to blame, (Bielsa usually) but I’m forever grateful I got to watch his teams play.

You campaigned for his dismissal now you’re questioning whether JM can cut it, sack again Baz?

We won the lottery attracting Bielsa to Leeds if Jesse doesn’t work out your looking for another manager? Who will want to come to us? And what will be our playing, financial situation at the time will it be a Sean Dyche type appointment.

I’m too young to remember Revie, just hope I’m not too old to enjoy Wilko Bielsa type success once again.

The definition of Yoyo Class?

20 May 2022 19:31:20
Hi Class thanks for your reply.

There were a few standout Bielsa matches the first game against Stoke, the 4 nil against Brom come to mind but personally I found all Revie Leeds teams up to 1974 and Wilko. Leeds teams of in particular 1990 to 1992 more enjoyable to watch with far far more memorable matches

Hyperbole Class22 to label Bielsa 9th place finish in a behind closed doors one off season 'an incredible achievement " . Sheff United achieved the same 9th position in their first season up too which was actually a marginally better achievement.

As for JM he was not my choice but it is what it is currently under this unsatisfactory current joint regime.
