So here's a question for you all; Carlos Corberan was put forward to Radz by Orta then Radz put his name to Bielsa all done with glowing recommendations, so why when they decided to let Bub go did they not approach Carlos Corberan? Looking at that time he was flying with Huddersfield and it had all been done with loanees and on a shoe string. Knowing all this I would suspect that he would of turned us down but now after what I've just read it seems he was always looking to come back one day and he is now a personal friend of Orta's, so again, why was he not considered? His first job and doing really well, lots of experience in England while JM just been sacked by RB and no experience in English Football? Just a little curve ball to take my mind of this week as I'm feeling the nerves lads! 🙏🙏.

I think the answer is 49s.

It’s a fair question Woody, I imagine because of Orta’s and Corberan’s friendship the question may have been asked, you can only assume that Corberan, if asked, didn’t want to leave with his job unfinished at Hudds?
There could be a strong possibility if JM struggles at Leeds United, Coeberan could very well be our next coach in the future.
Woody relax pal, i recommend you take a Nuru massage! It’ll take your mind off everything 😉.

Apparently Corberan was on the shortlist to replace Bielsa. Orta probably had a conversation with him, and being cut from a similar ‘honourable’ cloth to Bielsa, Corberan would have intimated that he wished to at least see through the season at Huddersfield, as OP suggests. Corberan would seem a good fit to carry on the better parts of what Bielsa established here, with the added bonus of being more pragmatic and tactically flexible. Apparently one opposition manager said of him that there was little point watching a video of his previous game for insight on his tactics, as he would almost certainly change things up. Plus he seems to like working with a decent sized first team squad!

Always wanted to see Carlos come in after Bubs. He was groomed for it. So yeah, agreed, why not? Why did it not happen? Does CC sense a rot? Dunno. Nor will we ever.

Timing just not right! Carlos is building his reputation at Huddersfield, learning the ropes and taking the team who were brave in giving him at opportunity, to the brink of the prem! He could have been swapping a side going up for one going down and compromising his integrity in the process!

Now if we go down and Huddersfield don’t go up, I’d still fancy him for one more try at the town but if the board wobble with Jesse, it could be a good option!
