If we are in the champ next season
I think Geldhart could get an absolute shed load of goals .

I agree.

Not that I want us to be relegated but a goal fest in the Championship for Joffy would build up his development and skills, ready for the Prem.
You can tell already there is enormous potential in the lad. Just hope no big club see his young talent and try to buy him.

OP - you’d hope that even if we were to go down, Joffy would opt to stay with us, at least for this stage of his career, rather than go to some ‘big’ club, as his opportunities for playing time wouldn’t improve with such a move. Indeed if we do go down, you’d think his opportunities for next season here would only increase. The same goes for Charlie Cresswell, who some also suggest ‘big clubs’ are sniffing around. Lewis Bate, Summerville other current U23s would probably also see their first team progression accelerated here.

As an aside, you’d hope that the lads who have been holding the fort for the U23s for most of this season whilst Joffy etc were warming the first team bench will absolutely smash PL2 Division 2 next season and gain promotion once again.

If we go down, we will keep our younger players I feel, and have a cracking young squad, with some older heads to help their development. These lads already have good contracts, and as you say, their development is best served with a full season, getting us promoted from the championship.
Players who will go ; Meslier, Llorente, Koch, Firpo, Ayling, Kal, Rapha, Harrison, James (? Maybe not? ) BamFord, Rodrigo. That alone to me me is about £160mill in dosh, plus wage savings, plus parachute payments. If we can’t get promoted immediately, with the squad we are left with, plus a few (5) signings, then somat is seriously amiss at the club.

If we do go down, and Marsch stays, I hope the Club can convince him to be less rigid with his tactics, and make greater us of the wings - the likes of Summerville are more likely to have success if play is less congested.

Brighty, who would want ayling, firpo, harrison, james, the others a lot depends on length of there contract.
Meslier and Bamford should stay out of loyality to the club who made them wat they are.
Koch and lorente probably as there on the fringe of world cup squads.
Ill drive rodrigo to the airport myself.

Doesn’t matter who would want them, nor was it anything to do with my post, so I have no comments to make on that matter. Harrison still has the potential to be class. Ayling was the best RB in The PL last year. I would keep James for the Championship. Firpo, could maybe also do a job in a lower division.
What is it with people asking wonky questions totally unlinked to posts, on here? Clearly, they would be needed off the wage Bill. That’s it.
