Would we have more points if Bielsa had been kept on? I would say YES. I realize we took some spankings but MB had a way of winning against similar teams as us. I just think we created more chances with Marcelo and despite our awful goals conceded record the wins would have come.
Gonna be a nervous week for us all.

Sorry to say it Corky, but Bielsa had seemingly lost the ability to consistently, no matter what, get results against those around us - Newcastle at home stands out as a prime example - Everton away wasn’t great either. Unfortunately games v such teams can’t be taken in isolation - the squad was knackered and massively down on confidence, and I’m not sure Bielsa would have found a way out of that. We may still go down, but it’s hard to find a convincing argument that Bielsa would have got us more points than we have now.
