Much improved 2nd half today, yes all 3 would have been ideal and in the 2nd half we done enough to take all 3.

We can do this boys, but on the flip, we need a huge huge overhaul to become a steady outfit like Brighton .

These are the clubs we should be emulating and this is achievable .

Even looking at their bench today I was so envious . Wtf was Radz thinking of this season?

He got his answer today.

Agree4 Disagree0

Good post Chris. I was thinking the same looking at their subs. Then I thought Brighton are a good few years ahead of us in the Premier league.

Only recently though, last two seasons and it all changed with Graham’s Potter, Cork,

Tony Bloom chairman, travels to away games on the train with his scarf and rucksack (sandwiches) with the Brighton fans, but built the amex stadium from his own money and the club are completely debt free. (He’s a very wealthy money investments man and professional poker player to boot)

Brighton were perennial relegation candidates (Chris Hughton) before Graham Potter.

I know a youth team coach at Brighton (played with and against him) similar to Bielsaball Potter demands every signing is technically very astute in particular that they do not panic when pressed. Apparently, Adam llana is his favourite signing to date.

They used initially under Gus Poyet and Hughton a similar scouting system to Brentford but now have excellent scouting team and academy (Ben white, Lewis Dunk) but everyone at the club worships Potter and apparently he’s the nicest humble human being to boot, recently sleeping a week rough on Brighton streets to highlight the plight of the homeless.

Think he could well be England manager one day.

But they are still 3 to maybe 5 seasons ahead of Leeds. Not sure any pack lunch makes a difference?
As far as I know we are debt free too?

Thats just nonsense. By the time you've bought your bread, filling and penguins plus the time spent to assemble it all and pack it in your rucksack (or get your butler to do it) you might as well just get a Boots meal deal. As usual it's one rule for the billionaire club owners and another for the common fan.

The difference Cork is Bloom as chairman said let’s stop trying to just stay up playing strong enforcers in midfield under Chris Hughton and switched totally to a possession based football playing team, so chalk and cheese so mute if the earlier seasons added that much other than blooding academy players like Dunk and Solly March.

The sandwiches references that unlike Radz who’s been on radio silence for six months (oh other than sacking Bielsa) the Brighton chairman is very close, amongst his supporters I think that’s helped the transformation into the team they’ve become.

They are both very insightful posts Class! Cheers for sharing your knowledge.
I do have a very positive opinion of potter as both a coach, and person, but a bit of insider info has reinforced that, plus I honestly knew nowt about bloom!
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻.

{Ed001's Note - I have to admit I am a huge fan of Potter, I spent a lot of time researching him while he was in Sweden for a manager profile and everything about him suggested he was a top class man. I think a lot of clubs missed a trick not getting him, he would have transformed your cross-Pennine United rivals, for example. Everton should have taken him rather than Ancelotti and then Rafa and now Lumplard. And he would have been the ideal man to take Bielsaball on.}
