Thought Bate looked very good in the half he played, and warrants keeping his place (over Klich) for Wednesday.
And baby Shacks is a proven and very capable replacement for Luke at right back.

I think Shacks is in training, hope he’s fit for Wednesday, not sure who will fill in for Luke effectively if he’s not ready.
Liked the way Harrison was encouraging Bate during the match with Arsenal, he does look a good prospect.

There’s talk about the possibility of using Raph as a wing back to resolve Ayling exclusion.
I’d rather use shacks or fill in with a center back like Koch.

Cody is NOT available sadly; a fine player who like Joffy, Cresswell, Summerville and Bate should have had
(far) more 1st team game time this season than the ridiculous minuscule amount of time they have actually played
nonsense chatter of Raph as right wing back ; the guy can't tackle and he is needed entirely in the attacking half;
would be very helpful indeed if Raphinha finally professionally showed up ( leaving aside his on pitch tantrums ) to play at his optimum best scoring some goals in these final 3 remaining matches ( doubt he will do so though as his head has been mostly elsewhere since January)

Agreed totally on Raphinha, deco has absolutely shafted us there by going public with all the Barcelona talk. It’s abhorrent behaviour from an agent to say the least.
