Well we never expected to beat Arsenal today.
At one point at 2-0 down and Ayling sent off I thought we were going to take a right hammering.
Full credit to the boys to keep the loss respectable, considering.
There’s no question in my mind now whether we stay up or are relegated there needs to be quite a shake up at the club.
It is in a mess, I hope Marsch can make it happen, don’t really want to go through another 15 coaches again.
Radz reluctance or simply not having the money to invest has crucified us with this injury ravaged season.
Having said that, I’m not giving up on our survival, it’s not over yet.
One thing for sure, it is down to us and Burnley.
There’s still 9 points to play for!

Nice one OP, always a pleasure to hear your optimism mate. I noticed all the bad things said on Live Chat and although I even thought we were bad I still have not given up hope. I still think there are a good 6 points in us yet and less in the rest! I thought Luke who’s untimely challenge was bad, was a bit unlucky because as it turned out he didn’t need to make the tackle because the lad was offside, but due to this stupid offside rule where the linesman has to wait until the player touches the ball Luke had to challenge. Saying that we then played better! We have to lose Firpo and Klich and I think Ralph’s head has gone but all the rest of the team still have something to give us and just maybe we can do it. I agree, I still believe we can stay up, but imo this seasons implosion is on the 3 figures who sit at the shiny chair in the best room at ER .
There is and was lolly there OP, regardless of the porkies Angus wrote about back in January, Radz had to have known we were in a pickle but kept shovelling out the poor mouth .
Well ultimately as Derek Trotter said no speculate, no accumulate, and please don't tell me oh, what about Everton!
The difference being with us is we came up and stayed up with largely the same team, and that's a serious error imo .
Bubs said he was only interested in better players . Surely is that not saying Andrea you need to spend bigger amounts now that we are in the richest league in world?

Yes good post Woody, we don’t need to talk about which players need to be moved on just yet but I think we all know who they are.
Ayling’s tackle was misjudged, looks like both his feet lost grip and with his momentum he’s taken him out.
Don’t think it would have made much difference anyhow and like you say, we seemed to be collectively better after he was sent off.
Gone are the days where we created chance after chance, it’s like looking at two different teams from this season to the last season.
The fight is still there but the belief has disappeared into the ether.
As you’ve mentioned Raph has gone, he doesn’t really offer us anything anymore, there’s no composure and knuckling down to help the team.
I knew Arsenal were going to close us down and put pressure on us when bringing the ball out from defense. Meslier is young and he will learn from these mistakes.
Hoping that we can make more of a fist of it against Chelsea, we need the fans to get the players adrenaline pumping at its maximum.
