You'll probably agree that I'm not on the correct website. I've supported Leeds since 1954 and a season ticket holder and coached a couple of lufc players when they were kids and subsequently played for England.

When I make a comment it's not about being a supporter, being negative or positive it's about what's playing out in front of me. I hope we stay up up but on balance we are not playing well enough to counter attack the surge of Burnley and Everton.

Burnley are playing to their strengths and Everton have the players to pull things out of the fire. We haven't the quality. Bielsa did a great job with the players we had but the injuries were a bridge too far and he is not around when they returned.

On balance Jesse won't be able to do what Bielsa did but anything is possible. Adios.

{Ed014's Note - why aren’t you on the correct website fella?

Always value your views Hess and always found you to be balanced in what you say.

Hesslian - not sure why you would feel you’re on the wrong site. Stick around. Hopefully we can all be a little less adversarial in our banter. Bottom line is it will always be us v the rest of the world, which is hard enough when we all stick together, so why the f*ck would we want verbally to knock ten bells out of each other?

Comments are simply categorised as either positive or negative. If you say on balance we will be relegated you are either negative or depressed. If you are a true supporter you are supposed to bang the drum that we will stay up. I like to listen to honest and well thought out assessments but too often its not about that and reality of whatever persuasion goes out of the window. I want us to stay up but its becoming increasingly unlikely but to say that is seen to be disloyal. What happened to informed opinion? If I'm wrong - great but believing that at the moment based on performance alone its not likely. That belief makes me no less of a fan.

I completely get it but just don't let it drag you down buddy. Who cares what 'camp'you are labelled as. I don't. Like yourself I try to reflect what I am seeing at the time I make the post and wouldn't say I am more positive or negative naturally. It changes all the time.

Think it’s just normal that you believe that your team could win a match, especially if your a relegation battle. Giving up is not negative, it’s just defeatism.

If I was actually playing i could understand that but as a fan I'm not 'giving up'. I still hope we win but comment on the likelihood of that happening. If I thought it was undermining our chances of course i would keep my opinion to myself but that's not the case.

Hess, nobody knows how this will play out, after every game there’s a new favorite to go down. We’ve got as good a chance of avoiding the drop as has Everton and Burnley, with four gammes to go!
I wouldn’t want to bet on it.

Neither would I but current form and players available would suggest that we will have more difficulty getting points than Everton or Burnley.

Sorry Hess, but that’s your perspective of being a supporter as you put it. We are all different and see things differently, that’s what makes this group the group we are. Dysfunctional? Yes, always in agreement? No but do we all have the same desire? Yes and that’s what makes us all supporters, we differ, some are realists some are idealist, but we all want the same goal.

Opinions are individual, we don’t have to agree with one another.
Not a single one of us wants to see our club relegated but some deal with the prospect by kind of accepting the worst then anything better is a bonus. Yet some will stay ultra positive right to the very end regardless of the outcome. It’s called being human pal as well as a supporter, there’s no right or wrong just us Leeds United fans doing what all fans do, but we do it better and always take more!
